A peaceful stay for nature lovers

Such a lovely place with an incredible view from the room and from the rooftop terrace where breakfast is served. The food is delicious, homemade and traditional, and the host family is absolutely lovely. If you need help with anything, they are always happy to help, and it’s really nice to talk with them.
The place has such good energy and is perfect if you’re looking for some peace and quiet, while still being only about a 10-minute walk (or even less) from the city center.

It has the views and the vibes with delicious breakfast

We stayed in Minthu homestay for 4 nights. The owner is a really helpful and chill guy who also cooks delicious breakfast for his guests. The beds an pillows were really comfortable and the fan was strong and cooling in the nights. The views at the roofed terrace are incredible; every morning we would enjoy breakfast watching the waterfall and mountains. We also rented a scooter really easily and cheap from the owner and he also provided laundry service for us. As Finns who feel awkward about overly pleasing customer service, this was a perfect stay for us. We got everything we needed and asked for, but always felt equal and the athmosphere stayed chill and comfortable at all times. Perfect getaway and only a 5min walking distance from the main street!
Would totally book again!
