"Discover the Sri Lankan hospitality at the summit of luxury and tranquility!"

The view & the breakfast are the best thing in Brisk Ella Retreat. Also the room was spacious & clean. The staffs were very helpful & hospitable. There should be a TV facility but it was missing. Also as it is located in a remote area, there restaurant should have wide range of menu. But we found only limited food items there for dinner.

Wonderful view and great Host

Me and 3 friends stayed at the Hotel for 3 nights. The view while you are sitting in the bed or the porch is stunning.
Of course it is a bit far away from the city center (takes about 20-25min) but our host was always giving us a ride down the hill and also picked us up from town to go back for a small amount.
Kamal, the host was incredibly friendly and helped us with everything. We can highly recommend the tours they offer. One day we did like an Ella Hotspot Tour - of course you can say them what you are interested in to see, they will just follow your needs.
The breakfast is delicious. Besides Toast, Rotti, Sri Lankan Pancake, fresh fruit, jam and butter we had some variety of typically Sri Lankan food like Coconut Sambal, Dhal and a few more I can’t remember the names.
On our tour with Kamal he shared with us his story and the story of the country, so you can really get in touch with the local life.
For us it was the close contact we had with our host, that made this stay an unforgettable experience, which we would recommend to all who want to feel comfortable and welcoming.

Isolated beauty

The Brisk Resort was a great place for a short stay. The patrons are very friendly and hospitable. They go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. The scene when you wake up in the morning is breath taking. The breakfast is very good. It's only drawback is that u need transport. It's almost a 4 km walk uphill all the way. Despite the fact that I did not have transport I enjoyed my stay.

Lovely Place

Breathtaking views from large spacious room. We got a room higher up which may have helped with the view. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner great also. Very friendly staff who are happy to help organise transport on your behalf. Very good value.
