great affordable SG place to rest - just fix the bathrooms!
Singapore is an exey city to stay in so finding somewhere central and modern can be difficult. I stayed at this site when it first opened years ago under another brand name but Ascott has recently (a year ago) brought it into its more affordable Lyf brand. The rooms are compact and not for long stays but three nights was doable. The bed was comfy, wifi good and the location great but if you're a light sleeper like me, you can be a little affected by street noise. Big letdown is the poor shower design which floods the bathroom.

Excellent hotel in the center. The staff is very kind. The rooms are very clean. The restaurant is excellent.

University dorm renovated to hotel
It’s like a university dormitory with a really nice bar and a modern gym
The bathroom is tiny, so showers will make the toilet area wet with water
Bed is decent
TV in the room doesn’t have channels. It’s just a screen to project your device onto
Self storage area is on 2nd floor for luggage. Bring your own bicycle chain lock.
Taxi drop off is on second floor. Check in is on first floor. You will also have to walk a flight of stairs, in case you want to carry your luggage to check in counter
