Good for relaxation
It's a good place to stay in 3 days but not more than that.
Villa vanilla is a relaxing place not too noisy and all you can hear is the sound of the birds and great views of the mountain from our bedrooms and receiving area. Plus is near to the waterfalls.
Villa Vanilla have some issues when it comes to their bathroom door which is hard to closed it. The bed is squeaking everytime we moves. They clean the bedroom everyday but they don't change the towels or bedsheets every 2 days unlike to the other accommodation.
Breakfast was okay, we are expecting that they will change the menu everyday .
Villa Vanilla should trained their staff on proper serving of food specially to handover a glass of water.
This hotel is far from the main road they said is 800 meters by walk but in reality is 800 meters by car.
Recommended to rent a car because sometimes when your trying to book a taxi there's no available.
Shout out to Ms. Yolanda for being the best!!

This hotel is a scam ! Do not book a stay here, not recommended as this is not safe place !
Vi dro til Seychellene på bryllupsreisen. Vi har reservert alle overnattingstedene i god tid. Da vi måtte registrere vår ankomst på seychelles regjerings sine sider for å få godkjenning for å kunne komme hadde vi problemer med denne overnattingsstedet. På booking kaller de seg for Waterfall Accomondation, mens dokumenter for bestilling fikk vi fra Villa Vanilla. Dette skapte store problemer for godkjenning fordi det finnes ingen godkjent overnattingssted som heter waterfall accomondation i Seychellene, regjeringen mente at dokumentene for vills vanilla er noe helt annet. Men til slutt fikk vi det godkjent. Vi skulle oppholde oss her i slutten av bryllupsreisen vår 3-5 august. I slutten av juli har vi begynt å få meldinger om at overnattingsstedet har problemer med å trekke penger fra konto for oppholdet, selv om pengene var på kontor har vi lagt til andre kort. Vi hadde fortsatt fått beskjed at overnattingsstedet har problemer med å trekke penger fra kortet. Da vi ringte waterfall accomondation/Villa vanilla har vi fått beskjed at oppholdet er kansellert og vi lurte på om vi kunne betale da vi ankommer. Vi fikk beskjed at de er fullbooket, men så spurte vi igjen hva skjedde med reservasjonen vår. De svarte igjen at de er fullbooket og at det er sikker mange andre steder som vi kan booke opphold i mahe. Vi forklarte at dette skaper mye stress for oss fordi for å bruke tiden på bryllupsreisen vår, må vi lete etter ny hotell. Damen vi snakket i telefonen med var ikke hyggelig, til slutt så ville hun ikke snakke med oss og har bare lagt på. Vi antar at det er måten de driver å kansellerer opphold for folk de ikke tjener så mye penger av, vi antar at de fikk tilbud fra noen andre som kunne være der over lenger tid og ikke 2 dager som oss og de latet som at de ikke kunne trekke pengene fra kortet og dette var kansellering av opphold med vilje. Det hotellet er noe lureri !!! Ikke book opphold her ! Anbefalles ikke da dette ikke er trygt !

We went to the Seychelles on our honeymoon. We have reserved waterfall accommodation place well in advance. When we had to register our arrival on the Seychelles government's website to get approval to come, we had problems with this accommodation. On booking, they call themselves Waterfall Accomondation, while we received documents for booking from Villa Vanilla. This created major problems for approval because there is no approved accommodation called waterfall accommodation in the Seychelles, the government believed that the documents for vills vanilla are something completely different. But in the end we got it approved. We were going to stay here at the end of our honeymoon 3-5 August. At the end of July, we started receiving messages that the accommodation is having problems withdrawing money from the account for the stay, even though the money was on the bankaccount, we have added other cards. We had still been told that the accommodation is having problems withdrawing money from the card. When we called waterfall accommodation/Villa vanilla, we were told that the stay has been canceled and we wondered if we could pay when we arrive. We were told that they are fully booked, but then we asked again what happened to our reservation. They replied again that they are fully booked and that there are certainly many other places where we can book a stay in Mahe. We explained that this creates a lot of stress for us because in order to spend time on our honeymoon, we have to look for a new hotel. The lady we spoke to on the phone was not nice, in the end she didn't want to talk to us and just hung up. We guess that's the way they go about canceling stays for people they don't make much money from, we guess they got offers from someone else who could be there for longer and not 2 days like us and they pretended they didn't could withdraw the money from the card and this was cancellation of stay on purpose. That hotel is a scam!!! Do not book a stay here! Not recommended as this is not safe!

Amazing stay
It’s the best place in all aspects, lovely staff warm welcoming clean place highly recommended amazing view around the hotel, the staff help my wife a lot they did amazing job with her.

Over-charge
On 09/04/2021 Villa Vanila over-charged us completely at 25 SCR per EUR for our stay while the true rate wat 20 SCR per EUR! They quote in EUR. When we told them real rate the whole experience turned into a nightmare and she then used 24 SCR per EUR. The Manager sighed and said she ALWAYS have to explain this then she shows you an old table from barclays with the rate she prefers to use. Old trick of them. People be very careful!!! They will probably have to rebrand again soon. I took a photo at airport where their rate is 18 SCR per EUR on 16/04/2021. Villa Vanilla overcharges A LOT in this way... will never go back.

Do NOT Recommend!
Unfortunately, I can't say anything about a hotel in superlatives or even in any favorable opinion...
After arriving at the place we found a huge tower with a radio-telecommunication antenna.
You need to sleep a few meters from the highly harmful radiation. Such an interesting prospect for relaxation...
At the moment when I noticed this issue to the owner, she answered that the permission for the construction was given and certainly it is not harmful. In "developing" countries you will build everything and wherever you want in exchange for a suitable "donation"...
It's strange that my fiancée and I slept there tragically...
Also, breakfast. It was a drama. Cheap toast bread, unappetizing ham and boiled eggs were thrown on the table. At the request of whether I could get an omelette, I received an answer: "No, there are already eggs on the table.
Suggesting the change to the owner, in a perfidious way she laughed at me.
