Best place to stay in Belgrade

Myself and my football team went to Belgrade this weekend to play in a tournament. Balkan Soul was recommended to us back in October last year when we first started planning and right from that moment they were so easy to deal with, right through to our arrival and stay they couldn't do enough for us. Sofija and the staff were extremely helpful, the price was excellent and the rooms were excellent. The location of the hostel is brilliant too for a short walk into the city centre. It is also easily accessible by 72 bus from the airport. The hostel was originally a house so we were told and I'm not surprised as it definitely has a family feel to it !

Made me feel at home <3

Had such a great experience! The stuff was very kind and helpful even before arriving at the location! I felt safe at all time and you can tell that they are building a community. The position is perfect:the hostel is 5 minutes from shops, restaurants, bus stations and ATMs. I'll definitely come back❤️

Best Hostel Ever

Highly recommended, perfectly located so you can go see all the attractions by foot, or with the public transport. Hostel staff is very helpful, and will help you plan your stay. During the nights, it gets busy and groovy in the common room, so it will be easy to meet people and have fun.

Home away from home

This was my first time travelling to Belgrade and Serbia so I wanted to base myself somewhere where I could meet likeminded travellers to explore the city with. The rooms are clean, you have a large locker allocated to you and I believe there are 4 bathrooms in total. The best part of the hostel is a combination of the stairs at the front of the property and the soul room at the basement. This is where you get to meet other travellers but also mingle with the staff which were super friendly and take an interest in getting to know about you. The hostel puts events on which also helps you interact with other guests. Whilst I was there, there was a cocktail night, Balkan Soul’s 6th birthday party and also family dinner night. Highly recommend if looking for somewhere central with lots around to do and people to meet.
