A haven of peace of quality and conviviality
We let ourselves be tempted by a stay of a week after the holidays. These were apparently intense at Maison Vanilla;-). We were able to rest but decorated this stay with some visits proposed well timed by Gerald. His wise advice for everything to go well is to follow. So he will reserve the right taxi, the right guide if necessary, etc...
The house is +/- 300 m walk from the beach. On the edge of it, walking a little, some very accessible small restaurants allow you to enjoy the place. At times, it is possible to eat at home or order takeaway if you wish to stay put.
The house consists of 8 guest rooms distributed around the pool. Some rooms overlook the pool directly, others overlook the garden with pool views. This one gives the appearance of being in the middle of a beach since it is infinity.
From the swimming pool you have access to the "restaurant", that is to say a few tables before a bar and the kitchen. You can enjoy a wonderful full breakfast made of eggs (on demand of your choice), pastries, breads, fruit, jam, etc. All this is served with a big smile by Pamela, Val and Gerald. It's an opportunity to chat and forecast the day.
In the afternoon, Maodo will take care of you at the bar and later at the restaurant. Ask him for a cocktail, he does this beautifully!!!
The kitchen is run by Housmane and his team. The menu is very affordable and super qualitative.
The garden is carefully monitored by the guard and the rooms are monitored and cleaned daily with discretion.
The rooms are large. They include a good bed with dressing area, sink, separate toilet and large Italian shower. Sufficient European outlets, airco, ceiling fan, ... Bed linen available.
Beautiful place and let yourself be advised by Val and Gerald.

A Vanilla Scent
Home owners, wise and wise advice and staff all smile.
The house Vanilla is splendid the large, comfortable and very cozy rooms
We spent 10 wonderful days alternating visits and relaxation.
Senegalese hospitality is not a legend.
