I was stay in Stippi Hotel for3 nights and enjoy every minutes. Very large room with romantic style, nice balcony with lake view, beautiful garden, excellent breakfast near the garden, very good service.Very good value for money. When I visit Gisenyi again I will enjoy again Stippi hotel experience.

The Higiene in this hotel is next to none, the hallways smell like dirty bathrooms, as well as the rooms. We found bugs on our beds. And the breakfast was horrible.
The staff made me a receipt attached to two wrong payments made by different cards which I have no idea who’s they are. The bathrooms were so filthy we did not even use them. Even after asking for it to be cleaned
We had a horrible time in these facilities, unfortunately. Never going there again. Not worth it.

Old Charm hotel that struggles to be a full 3 star

The rooms were large and bathroom had a big tub (but no stopper) as well as a separate shower. The bed and linens were very nice. Our only negative was that we were on the first floor and didn’t feel safe sleeping with the outside door open and it was hot. The management, however, did provide us with a loud fan that helped. The food and service were excellent, as was the outdoor setting. There are some beautiful plants on the grounds that probably need to be trimmed, but were outstanding. I would love to read a history of this old hotel, but couldn’t find one. I didn’t see the second floor, but would ask to stay there next time.

Good hotel

The hotel has a beautifull garden witch includes a playground for children, a pool, a bar and enough seating spots. Rooms are large but dated. The breakfast was not great but as we were the only guest at the moment that should be beter when it is busy. We had breakfast in the calafia café and that is a definitie must go.
