⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely first-class hotel in a perfect location – would come back anytime!
I have already stayed at the IBIS Hotel in Timișoara for the second time and am once again completely thrilled. This hotel impresses in every way with cleanliness, comfort, friendliness, and excellent service. For me, this hotel clearly deserves 5 stars.
The rooms are modernly furnished, extremely clean, and very comfortable. Air conditioning and a large flat-screen TV additionally ensure a pleasant stay. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent cleanliness throughout the hotel. The sanitary facilities were also in impeccable condition. Everything appeared very well-maintained and hygienic. Toiletries such as shower gel were, of course, available. The bed was very comfortable and clean, allowing me to sleep excellently.
The rooms as well as the elevators are additionally secured with electronic key cards, making guests feel particularly safe. Only hotel guests with the appropriate key card can access the upper floors — a significant plus in terms of security.
The entire staff was always exceptionally friendly, helpful, polite, and professional. Guests are always greeted warmly and feel immediately welcome. English is also spoken without any issues. The 24-hour reception additionally ensures comfort and security at any time of day or night. Credit card payment is, of course, also possible.
The breakfast was absolutely top-notch and, in my opinion, one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever experienced. The selection was very large, fresh, and of high quality. Here, no wish was left unfulfilled. It is also particularly pleasant that lunch and dinner are additionally offered at the hotel. The dishes were very delicious and the service was excellent. The breakfast room, the restaurant, and the lounge areas were also extremely clean and modernly designed.
Another significant advantage is the very large and guarded parking lot directly in front of the hotel. There is ample space for many cars as well as for buses. This particularly ensures a very relaxed stay for travelers and transit guests.
The hotel is also fully accessible and equipped for guests with disabilities. Two modern elevators provide comfortable access to all floors. Even as a guest with severe disabilities, one feels very well cared for and welcome here.
It is also particularly pleasant to have the wellness area available, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day and enhances the stay.
The location of the hotel is also excellent. Sights, churches, museums, restaurants, cafés, and many other interesting places in Timișoara can be easily reached on foot. There are also tram and bus stops directly in front of the hotel, allowing for quick and easy access to all areas of the city. McDonald's, Burger King, supermarkets, cafés, and other restaurants are also within walking distance.
The entire hotel once again left an excellent impression on me. You can immediately tell that great importance is placed on cleanliness, comfort, safety, and hospitality here. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay and will definitely be happy to return.
For me, this hotel clearly belongs to the best hotels in Timișoara, and I can recommend it without reservation.

A semy decent transit hotel
Overall this is a semi central hotel ,worth booking only if your on transit towards some other places .It s pet friendly and it has comfortable beds and a convenient big parking area. The breakfast was OK.
What I didn't like and I hope that the management and staff members see this are the following things:
●No carpets in the rooms ,they are much needed if you have tile flooring
●A decent working fridge, that minibar didn't cool anything for several.hours
●A bathroom door that closes and the ventilation system in the bathroom working .
●A better quality coffee in the rooms
●Extra pillows and blanket
●If you make a pet owner pay for.your pet taxes at least give the pet something in exchange ,your the only location where for.that tax our pets didn't get anything.
●The staff doesn't look after that terrace at all ,and at 40+degrees outside your ventilation system with cooling systems were not opened ,instead the terrace roof was opened to invite the sun and heat inside and the tables weren'tcleaned for hours .We were told that because of the smokers you leave the terrace opened ,and where in Romania did you hear that an open terrace is forbidden by law to have a covered roof since its a metallic structure?Seriously nonsmoking policy is one thing and making smoker clients that also are clients giving you the same money feel like crap because your staff is neglecting the terrace and this client category is totally another thing.We travelled around the world at several hotels ,never had this poor experience even if we are smokers .
●Change the coffee concept and absurd prices of a canned coffe at the reception ,people.would appreciate a hot coffe from a coffee vending machine with normal prices at all.hours instead of a coffe bought from a hypermarket, and brought hereand resold at 25 lei .
●Do something with the cook at your restaurant, the cook wasn't there from the afternoon we arrived up to next morning and you would get a better revenue out of that terrace since its the only one close by in the area.For example once we asked for the vents to be turned on (3 times) all smokers came inside that place and went to get drinks .Nobody likes to stay in the sun at the hotel entrance to smoke ,these people also pay!We asked for a waiter to lower the roof 10cm so that the sun doesn't get into our eyes and we can have some sun protection, and they lifted their shoulders and said we were told to keep them opened because there are smokers here ,eventhough other parts of the roof were lowered. These people really need training!
●The hotel lacks trashcans in the parking lot and benches
●From all Ibis hotels We have been into this is a very low service quality one and I wouldn't return the second time although we have an Allcor membership

Exactly what you expect from an Ibis hotel. What you see is what you get. Clean an professional. Ibis Timisoara is no exemption. Never extraordinary - but more important- never bad.

Clean, convenient, and modern hotel. Parking price is a bit excessive when compared to other costs, but it is nice to have a secure lot.
