International Hotel Sinaia

We had the pleasure of staying one night in March at the International Hotel Sinaia, and overall it was a very pleasant experience.
The hotel is beautifully located in Sinaia, offering a comfortable atmosphere and great facilities. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the overall ambiance of the hotel made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.
What truly stood out during our stay was the exceptional service provided by Andreaa Sandru. After we accidentally left some personal belongings in the room, she went above and beyond to assist us. Andreaa was extremely professional, proactive, and kind in organizing the recovery of our lost items and helping arrange their return to us. Her dedication and willingness to help made a big difference and reflects very positively on the hotel’s commitment to guest service.
We are very grateful for her support and professionalism. Employees like Andreaa Sandru truly elevate the guest experience.

Poor services, unacceptable for 4 star hotel

The rooms were unheated, it was warmer in the common hallway. After complaining at the reception I was able to increase the temperature in the room from 19 to 22. the bathroom still remained unheated. wifi did not work. It was not just my room but the entire hotel. I was one of the participants in a conference organized there. The other participants complained about the same thing. average breakfast. compote fruits.

Not a 4 star hotel

The only good thing about this hotel is that is a rather cheap, but unfortunately this also reflects the quality of the hotel is huge but only has 2 elevators for 9 levels. The spa is WAY TOO Small and thus very crowded. Also you need to make reservations and after 6 pm you have to pay extra. At breakfast it is really very crowded as well, not relaxing at all. The rooms need a renovation urgently. On top of that, the service is very poor. We forgot a wallet and some documents. I called them to ask if they had found it and they promised to call Bach but I did not receive a call back. So we decided to drive back. The reception had only found spectacles which were not ours, no wallet. So I insisted to inspect the room myself and immediately found the wallet.
When we left they called to say they had found some documents as well. I asked to send them by normal post courrier but they refused. This is exemplary for a very big hotel which cannot handle all these guests

Once and never again

The rooms in an Eastern Bloc-style prefab building are in dire need of renovation. The bathroom has a broken sink, a broken cistern, a shower in the bathtub that creaks loudly, the shower head is 1.5m high, lots of cables are laid in the cable duct, the topper flies out of the bed, frayed carpet on the balcony!!! The rooms are nothing like the photos on Booking. The price of €103 per night is not justified at all. After complaining, the hotel did not accommodate us, just a small fruit basket and a waiver of the parking fee of €4 per day. The pool, whirlpool and sauna can only be used by prior registration for a maximum of 2 hours, during our visit the pool and whirlpool (for a maximum of 4 people) were so full that we left. I recommend the Hotel Alexandru next door, which is very modern and has great rooms. All in all, a big disappointment

Great location, good choice

We enjoyed our one-night stay. The hotel has a great location and clean rooms, friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was excellent, a lot of choices, all tasty. We did not use the spa and swimming pool. This hotel is highly recommended, a good choice.
