The great escape!

This was the last placed we stayed in before leaving România for our honeymoon and it was great, it really helped us with recharging our batteries for the trip we embarked upon. The room was awesome, the bed very comfortable and the experience as a whole was flawless. Thank you, Casa Transilvania!

Good choice

Pro: the Staff and communication with the client, good location, specious rooms, free parking and secure - CCTV towards the street, area is relative OK and quite. For passing by is the perfect solution.
Cons: a little bit more attention to cleaning details.

Home sweet home

Very friendly and warm place to stay,while visiting Satu Mare. Big rooms, sparkly clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Cozy house. Good wifi. Safe place, 24 h surveillance. Parking in front of the house. 15 minutes walking distance to city center.

"A little gem in Satu Mare!"

Casa Transilvania ticks all the boxes!!
Great welcome (in English!) and a fantastic room!
All amenities "as quoted" (a hairdryer would be a useful addition) and more!
Clean, warm and comfortable with good wifi although an endless number of TV channels!!
More than "just a bed for the night" - the large room included a sitting area with writing table and fridge.
If arriving by train, bear right from front of station and in 5" turn right at first main crossroads and Casa Transilvania is 20 yards on right!
Centre an easy 15" walk away.
Early start so didn't try breakfast - definitely keeping in mind for a return visit!

A very nice place to stay in Satu Mare

We were very happy with our choice of staying here. The hosts had tried to contact us earlier in the day, to confirm our arrival time, but we missed their call/message, but it was not an issue, we called them when we were outside and the lady arrived within 10 minutes.
Our room was separate from the main building, it was a little annex at the back of a small courtyard garden. It was not modern, but it was large and everything you needed was there and in good working order. Everything was clean.
I highly recommend you take breakfast here, it is served in a very characterful room in the basement of the main building, I loved the decor down there, some retro tv's and radios for example. There is a generous buffet (we were the only ones there at that time), cold meats, cereals, fruits, etc, plus the lady made us coffees to order plus fried eggs, it was a nice breakfast experience.
Our car was parked outside the front of the building on the main street, but it was safe to do so, the property is monitored all around by cctv cameras.
Walking to the city is quick and easy - 10 to 15 minutes.
Overall, I highly recommend Casa Transilvania, a very good value and pleasant place to stay, run by very nice people.
