Fairytale challet in Vrancea

A fairytale cottage, very clean, warm and refined, located in the forest, in the middle of a fir-tree forest, with rustic architecture and populated by elves carved in wood, next to which you expect dwarves from Wilhelm Hauff's fairy tales. We had an extremely pleasant experience enjoying the care and professionalism of the very friendly staff, as the people of Vrancea region are wellknown for their welcoming nature! It is a bit isolated from the locality (relatively easy to reach by car on a forest road with no major bumps), so we decided to dine at the chalet and we were very pleased, as the extremely clean kitchen is masterfully used by an extraordinary cook who adapted the varied and rich menu (with many of their own products) to my biliary dyskinesic needs. We also made friends with whom we traveled the mountain trails with breathtaking views, reaching on foot the Putna Waterfall, the beginning of the Tisitei Valley trail (impassable in winter because of ice) and by car to Lepsa where we visited the monastery and the wooden church. We decided to return soon, sad that we have to leave this fairytale place at the end of our stay.

worst customer service

We found ants in the room, we got them everywhere, in the luggage, even in bed. They admitted they already knew of the issues and still they checked guests in those rooms. After very hard bargaining we got another room, where we found cockroaches and wasps. Me and my family were attacked by one of the two dogs on the property who were at large even after the incident and after pleading to have them locked. My wife got bitten and is treated with rabies vaccines because the dog wasn't vaccinated as it is mandatory, my child got scared.
The personnel were until the end pretending not to be responsible in any way, they even denied of the incidents ever happening or accusing us of precipitating the situation.

They refused to tie the dog up after it bited me

Two big dogs are free to walk on the property. One of them bited me and they refused to tie it up. It is unvaccinated and free to go to the forest, so now I have to take 5 shots of vaccine. There were ants in the bed and bugs on the floor.
The design of the place is nice, too bad they don't pay attention to security and hygiene.
