Best Mercure Hotels in Bucharest by far

It's closer to Unirii Square (and consequently to the Old Town of Bucharest) than any other Mercure hotels that include Unirii Square in their names. Rooms are larger than similar rooms in other Mercure hotels in Bucharest and definitely more modern and cozy. My room, located on the first floor, had a large balcony (although the view from the balcony was totally boring). The staff was super kind and friendly.
Two of the main parks in Bucharest (Carol and Tineretului) are located at a walking distance from the hotel, for those who want to take a quick jog in the morning.
The main attraction of this hotel seems to be the restaurant. Contemporary cuisine inspired from traditional and regional dishes, with hints from French and Balkan cuisine. The lamb stew with plums was unforgettable, as well as the turkey terrine. Obviously, the breakfast was lovely.

A high quality new hotel in a good location

Stayed here for 6 nights in two separate stays during a recent visit to Romania. This is a brand new hotel, so the rooms were in excellent condition, with very comfortable beds, good quality bedding and towels, and excellent bathroom facilities and air conditioning. The hotel is in a good location, around 15 minutes walk to Piata Unirii and the metro, and a few minutes more to the Old Town with its many bars, restaurants and attractions. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and on our second visit remembered my wife’s gluten free bread without being asked, which was a nice personal touch. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety, although it could be improved by providing English Breakfast tea, which from memory was only available on one day out of the six we stayed. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good quality modern hotel in a relatively central location.

Good hotel in quietwelllocated area.

Great greeting with charming g receptionist who gave an explantion.Room on high f.oor with a view. Room compa t but well equipped with mini bar, T.V and all onions. The hotel offers fresh filtered water, night me u and restaurants. Situated near transport and a large supermarket.

Hotel at the top

Modern and functional hotel. Very spacious super clean and quiet room with large panoramic balcony. Renovation of the room every day. Breakfast well assorted with sweet and savory. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Special praise for the manager Cornelia for the availability and friendliness shown and ready to meet all our needs. Another thanks is to Alessandra and the chef always ready to meet the needs of customers with excellent menus and great variety of choice. Great location from the center and public transport. Characteristic of the hotel: super clean and very fragrant environment
