Perfect location and exceptionally clean and within walking distance of old town.
Cristina was lovely, very helpful and kind and communication was excellent. The rooms were super clean, aircon was fab and the beds very comfy. The location is perfect for a base in Braşov. Transport links just round the corner and everything else within walking distance. We had a lovely stay and would def recommend to others. Lovely wee place tucked up a quiet street.

Great Location, Welcoming Staff
Fantastic views from our terrace in room #21. Loved the easy and pleasant walk down to the old town which felt safe and well-lit at night. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Parking is a little tight; we were glad to have a small rental car. Our room was not super spacious, but fine for the two of us with our small bags for one night. The room had all the basics we needed, an ample bathroom, and the large terrace which we were able to enjoy with a cup of coffee made in the shared breakfast room.

I would stay there again
A great place to stay, I definitely recommend. We booked a suite with terrace for 4 people, there were two rooms with two single beds in each and a big bathroom. We stayed for 6 nights and the rooms were cleaned several times during our stay. All the towels (a big one and a small one for each person) were also changed. The bed linen was always clean. There is enough furniture for 4 people to put their stuff there and there was a small fridge and some glasses. Wi-Fi was good. The view from the terrace is quite nice and there is enough space on the terrace to actually dine there :) The street is quiet, so we were not bothered by traffic noise at all (also, no pubs or night clubs in close vicinity).
As for the bus connections, the location is great. Livada Postei bus stop is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel and from there you can take a bus to about anywhere you need. The centre of the Old Town is a 10-minute walk.
The kitchen, which is not really a kitchen but a dining area, is on the first floor. You can always find some tea bags there (mostly herbal tea), coffee, mineral water, cups, plates, cutlery, napkins, etc. You can’t cook there, though, as there is no cooker or oven. There is a microwave, a toaster and an electric kettle.
The people at the reception were very friendly, tried to help us with everything (bus/train schedules, useful websites, etc.).
I would single out only two things which were not 100% excellent:
- Sockets. There could be more of them and the existing ones were not very reliable as they… were coming out of the walls) You pull the plug of your device and the entire socket somewhat comes out) But it was the same in two other hotels we stayed in (in Brasov and Bucharest), so, I guess, it’s a local thing.
- The staff was mostly absent at the reception to the point that nobody checked us out, we just left the keys on the table and left :) On the one hand, it was OK, because the staff made sure we didn’t want for anything and the atmosphere was homelike. On the other hand, if you have a question to ask, you will probably have to contact them online or call them or come to the reception in the morning. My advice also is to let the staff know your time of arrival in advance, so that there would definitely be someone to meet you.

I just love this hotel!
I enjoyed every single day at this hostel! I traveled with 3 friends, so we booked a large room with 4 beds, 2 rooms and a terrace (and the view is amazing!). Everything was just great. The rooms are light and have quite a lot of furtinure you need for your stuff. We had a wardrobe, 2 chest of drawers, 2 nightstands, 3 chairs, 2 armchairs, a table. Additionally we had a small fridge, 2 TVs, a hair dryer. On the first floor there is a dining room with a kettle, a coffee machine, a toster and lots of dishes you can use. We had a breakfast just like at home, nice and comfortable. When we were out the staff of the hotel changed our linens and towels. You just come home and see that everything is clean and fresh :)
What is a bit different from other hotels - someone at the reception is there not all the time. But for me it was more of advantage. And when we checked in the guy at the reception provided us with all necessary information about the hotel, buses, trains, seesights, etc.
As to location, it's about 5 minites from the bus stop and about 15 minutes on foot from the old town. But it's in a quite place. So this is 10 out of 10!

Good Quiet location, close to centre with free parking
Room was modern and clean and had a very large balcony on which you could sit and sun bath. Short walk into town along a lit path.
Facilities include free tea and coffee and shared access to a kitchen.
