Very nice time in pension Verde
Beautiful place with view on mountains, really nice and helpful owners, clean room with air condition, good homemade breakfast. Nice place for relaxing and starting mountain trips (you can go to The Blue Lake or to Monastery in Chiuzbaia village :) I hope we'll be back there someday. Thanks a lot for nice welcoming :)

Family Holiday
Absolutely disgusting.
The worst choice of my life....The food was the worst of my life ...with uncooked food ...and very unsalted and untasted soap.....totally a crap ..
Bring you’re own soap because they don’t supply any .
Bring you’re own water ....because they don’t put the table even tap water ....
Unprofessional staff and owner ...they don’t have any traditional things or clothing...
Waste of time and money on that place ...stay away of it ...

Hidden gem in the Maramures
Clean, quiet place with beautiful views ofthe mountains. Owned by a young couple who are very friendly and accommodating. They also speak English. The food was good and we could taste the flavors of the region. We booked a twin room and the room was big, clean with AC, small refrigerator and TV. There is also free wifi. We had an amazing view of the mountains and the small church on the mountain. We also booked a tour of the Maramures and Albert did a wonderful job of driving us around and showing the magnificent sceneries of the area. He will customize the tours according to requests. Overall we highly recommend the place for couples and small groups. Wish ere would be a Pension Verde in other places!

Owner cancelled reservation
We had booked three nights at this pension. We were unable to get there the first night because of a major road accident which completely blocked the road north of Sighisoara for several hours; we immediately emailed the owner (twice) using the addresses provided by Tripadvisor and asked him to keep the reservation, as we would be arriving the next day. Of course we expected to pay for the night we missed. He replied saying the reservation was completely cancelled since we had not arrived as scheduled, and the rooms were unavailable. We had to find another pension in the area at short notice, which was not easy. Needless to say we were not happy with this treatment.

A lovely place very friendly owner
Is a young couple who run the Pension, very friendly and good in English. The Pension called " verde" I understand why verde (green) because the interior of the room is green. The beddings, curtain is green, maybe is a favorite color of the owners. We have a fridge, is necessarry at this hot weather. Since we arrive in Romania the temperature is really hot, we have 30 degrees everyday. Fridge in room is nice, you can keep some cool drinks. Free wifi is a PLUS. The bathroom is very green, nice and good
The place is not reachable by public transport, so car is necessary to get here. There are restaurants nearby, but we did not bother of looking. The owner offer us if we like to have dinner she can cook for us. So, we did order a dinner. We can choose the chicken filet or Polenta a real Romanian localty. Polenta consist a grind lamb which I don't like it, I choose the chicken instead. No idea what's the price, when I ask her the price is only 20 Ron each of us. It's a bargain!
Breakfast is available for 10 Ron each, which is very cheap. I ask her what they have for breakfast, she said: sausage, bacon, jam, eggs, bread, choice of hot drinks between coffee, tea, hot chocolate
The Pension Verde price is 100 Ron (22€) per night. Be aware that they don't accept credit card, cash payment only. Inexpensive place to stay, worth the price! nice surrounding friendly ownwers and nice room
