Amazing
Without a doubt, one of the best hotel complexes in Suzdal.
Chic bath and spa complex, (visit free) several modern buildings, for those who want to have personal houses. Some good restaurants. The location is excellent, 5 minutes to the Kremlin.
But most importantly the customer-oriented staff and management of the hotel.
Personally, I'm also glad they discounted my birthday accommodation. And I was pleasantly surprised by the extra compliment from the hotel.

A delightful holiday away from the bustling city
My favorite place in Suzdal. Excellent kitchen, interiors, service is just at the highest level! Restaurant Hive - impressed with its simple, but at the same time interesting menu, everything is delicious and VERY ..in Russian!)))

Spoiled weekend by the Pushkarskaya Sloboda Hotel.
3 times planned to visit Suzdal for the weekend and 3 times planned to stay at the Pushkarskaya Sloboda Hotel. Through the official website booked and paid for a room, bought train tickets and excursions, packed their things and happy prepared for a great holiday. On the day of check-out, quite by chance, I noticed the arrival of money on the card in multiples of the room charge. She started to look into it and was surprised to see that the hotel had silently cancelled our reservation. If I hadn't accidentally noticed that the sum in question was coming in, we'd have been left with our suitcases on the doorstep of a hotel in a foreign city at 9pm on Friday night. The hotel didn't bother to call with an explanation and apology. I called the hotel myself, still hoping it was some kind of misunderstanding and counting on the hotel's help and cooperation. But no, for nothing. I was asked to handle the site myself, their official website! where they would explain why this crash happened. Call it yourself, they told me. That it was a glitch the hotel acknowledged, but did not remedy the situation. The hotel room I wanted was never provided. I got the feeling at all that someone needed a room and they just cancelled our reservation to make room. We were asked to check into some other hotel in a completely different area of the city, although we were interested in that particular location. The mood was soured, the weekend was ruined, the credibility of this hotel was damaged. There are all sorts of overlaps, but silently canceling a reservation and not calling, not making sure the guest has realized for sure that they are homeless because of the hotel is a shame. We were offered nothing - no compensation, no solution. The hotel didn't even try to smooth things over. They kept telling me we were innocent... It's all a website... Funny to listen to! This is your website! You are responsible for it and for the correctness of its work! You are responsible for the security of your booking! And you are obliged to smooth it out in case of a problem and compensate for the inconvenience of guests who are not to blame, that your reservation system does not work correctly and crashes! And we were regular guests at this hotel. And repeatedly recommended him to friends. Never again will we go back to it and advise anyone. At the last moment, being without a room in a foreign city and without an adequate hotel response to this situation - it is impossible to compensate for it with anything.

The services and attitude of the hotel's customers must be commensurate with the stardom
This is not the first time I have booked this hotel in advance - I like the place, atmosphere, rooms, everything seems decent. But every time I come across the same strange situation that spoils the overall impression. We're talking about a restaurant complex attached to a hotel and the inability to make reservations there in advance.
It would seem that since you're staying at a hotel, especially if you're planning it in a few weeks, you can at least count on not being left without dinner at their own restaurant. But no. When trying to make a reservation at the time of checkout - politely refused. They say, "reservations are only three days in advance." When asked why you cannot reserve in advance, no clear explanation is given. It's just that "politics."
That said, last year I tried to follow their rules: I called honestly three days in advance - and guess what? All taken. That is, the scheme is genius: you can't do it before three days, and it's too late in three days. It works fine if you're not a client, but a quest designer.
It seems that reservations are really either held to someone "their own" or are somehow distributed non-publicly. Because how else to explain that a guest who has planned a holiday in advance of a month ends up in a bust and “all the tables are already booked” – in some mystical way?
It would all be forgivable in some three-star hotel where nobody expects much. But in this case the level is clearly higher, and the prices are appropriate. So when a hotel refuses to even try to arrange something for its guests, it becomes unpleasant, to say the least.
I wish it didn't happen again year after year. But so far, the "no booking in advance" policy seems to be a convenient screen. That's a shame, because otherwise the hotel is really decent. But after a few repetitions of the same situation, you start to wonder – should I go back?

Nice hotel
This is the third time we've stayed at this hotel. We love everything. Nice, manicured grounds, swings, slides for kids. Rooms are clean, good renovation. There are two restaurants in the grounds, slab and hive, very nice.
The hotel has a spa which is free for guests. Pool, sauna and hamam.
