Beautifully presented villa perfect for families

We stayed here in May 2026. The villa is beautifully presented and well maintained. It is clean, decorated and beautifully maintained. My children loved the pool and the sun is above it all day making it a wonderful family area. There is a bbq to use also which we used daily. We will definitely return to this villa.

Lovely ABNB

Clean and comfortable. Mafalda, the hostess, was wonderful. Satisfying breakfast. No issues getting an Uber for transportation.

Run down villa. Give it a wide berth.

Spent a week in villa do Marco in August 2025. The holiday was booked with TUI to celebrate a special birthday. It wasn't a cheap holiday. Cost nearly £5000 for four of us. First impressions were that the villa was tired looking and unloved. One of the kitchen drawer fronts was hanging off. There were two wall plugs not properly connected to the wall with the wires exposed. The swimming pool shower was blocked and unusable. We were a bit disappointed. What really spoilt the holiday was that on the last day one of the toilets became blocked. The whole toilet was flooding from under the floor and running into the corridor. The toilet didn't overflow so it's a mystery where the water was coming from. We called the owner,Marco, who said he was on a Safari in the mountains and couldn't get there for five hours. We asked about an emergency plumber but we met with a no.
We went out for the evening and Marco called us and said that the problem was caused by a diaper put down the loo by the previous occupants. He said that we could use the shower and loo now. On return we found that nothing had been done at all. The smell was horrible. We couldn't use the other shower as that was blocked. Luckily we were leaving the next day.
Complaint was made to TUI. Got a call back a few weeks later by some bored and totally disinterested rep who offered a £50 voucher. They weren't interested.
Do not book this villa because you will be disappointed.

Stay away

The place was disgusting dirty, showers broken did repair, bbq implement full of rust no hot water in main bathroom couldn’t use pool due to being full of leaves the TUI brochure says this former lovingly family home as been lovely restored I don’t no when but it’s not as it says in the brochure and u need to use the car to go out
