Maciel Residential

The residence is well located and for those just looking for a place to sleep, it meets the requirements. However, at this time they don't serve breakfast and we were unfortunate that our room was full of ants.

Don't stay here

Stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms were told by Rosa(owner) check in was 12pm when we arrived to check in her daughter who was rude, aragant and condescending informed us check in was 3pm.
First room clean with large comfortable bed. Was advertised with aircon but only had a fake one which made room hotter.
Second room was tiny with small
very uncomfortable bed we could feel the springs in mattress, not even a fake aircon.
Breakfast was reasonable.
Good location in town nowhere near beach as advertised. Wouldn't recommend this place I was especially annoyed with the bad attitude of the owners daughter, and can't understand why these people couldn't spend some of their exorbitant taffif on replacing the uncomfortable mattresses.

Terrible

I asked if there was air conditioning and the man at the reception said categorically: Yes! But there wasn’t any air condition. When confronted he was extremely impolite. Terrible service. I do not recommend this place at all. The food was not good and the price was to high. On the internet the price given was 48 euros but when I arrived he said 60! Stay away from this place!!

We apologize for what happened with the air conditioner, it was a big fault of us. We guarantee it does not happen again.
Regarding the 48€ you saw on the internet, it really is a mistake and we would like to know which page found these values because they are not the same ones we are practicing at the moment.
On these occasions it is best to explain everything during the check-in or soon after, so there are no such problems, because our goal is that everyone feels at home.

Worry free night...

I stayed in room 15, which is their suite. The room itself is big, with white and green/blue decor. The grey floors are a nice touch!
The entire place is extremely clean. I was in Peniche visiting friends for one night and this place was absolutely perfect!
Breakfast area is also very modern, clean and plenty of good choices.
Comfortable, clean and just one block from the main avenue. Loved my stay here....worth a return!
