Disastrous
Watch out for the size of the room, which is much smaller than it looks.
The lack of insulation is a big problem, as the heat accumulated during the day makes the nights unbearable without air conditioning. In an attempt to ventilate, we opened the window all night, to find that the balcony opposite offered us in show to the neighbor (she must not have been disappointed).Room a little noisy, lots of traffic in the street.
Another negative point: the bathroom has only a fixed shower head, which is very impractical without forgetting the 60cm washbasin unit that is attached to the partition which leaves us little room for the toilet as well as the toilet that is cracked on the floor and leaking.
To top it all off, although I am of Portuguese origin, we have been welcomed by people who do not speak the local language or French but only English, which is difficult to accept. This place doesn't justify its price. It's a real money pump.
Following the response of the owner for his accommodation on booking here is my answer (rental of 17/08/2025)
I am disappointed by the tone of your answer, which is neither professional nor constructive. My initial comment was a simple factual feedback for future travelers.
You mention an 'allergic' room in your ad, but the presence of a large stained carpet is in total contradiction with this promise.
Regarding heat, I doubt that a fan can really cool a room overheated by the sun all day. We opened the windows out of necessity to try to sleep, which unfortunately exposed us to the lack of privacy with the neighboring balcony, not out of choice.
As for communication, there was no xenophobic intent in my statement. It is simply a pity not to be able to exchange, even briefly, in the language of the country in which one is located, especially when the Service is supposed to be personalized.
Your aggressive response and personal attacks unfortunately confirm the disappointment I felt. It’s interesting to note that you only respond to negative reviews, which says a lot about your customer return management.
