Perfect for a stay in Coimbra

Perfect. An excellent central but not too busy location, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, and delicious fresh fruit! All at a very reasonable price.

Clean, nice buffet breakfast, friendly staff, good locatjon, hot shower

We had a wonderful one night stay at this hotel. Very friendly people at the desk the room was very clean the air conditioner worked there was an elevator and we were very close to shopping area

Vitoria Hotel Deserves The Crown of Coimbra

We stayed for seven nights in this small family hotel located in the very heart of Coimbra, near the Portagem bus stop on one side,.and a few steps from the Rua Ferreira Borges leading towards Prac,a De Commercio on the otherside. The Manager Carla, surrounded by her parents & team provided us with the little attentions, always made us feel at home during our stay. Her advice about places to visit & things to do were very helpful. The personnel were treated like family members, especially Gabriel who was constantly attentive at reception as well as during breakfast going above & beyond to help out the guests. The ladies
making our room everyday were faultless. We can only recommend this cosy hotel to anyone visiting or passing by this little city that has so much to offer. Well done & keep up the great work!

Phenomenal staff

We had a great stay at the Hotel Vitoria. The room was small, but adequate and very quiet even though it was on the pedestrian street. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. But the staff were what made this place special. Everyone was so kind and helpful. They even made suggestions of places to visit that we didn’t know about. I highly recommend the Hotel Vitoria. It was reasonably priced, too.

Excellent customer service - great welcome

Walking the Portuguese camino with 2 friends when they suffered a stomach bug which I somehow escaped. Camino abandoned and we took the coach to Coimbra to rest up.
We passed this hotel after trying an unsuitable pension first. What a find - we had a comfortable triple room with super clean bathroom. Carla and the other staff looked after us so well and my friends had chance to recover.
Carla arranged a taxi to take us to the remote mountain schist villages which was a highlight of our trip. Coimbra itself is a fascinating city with a lot of history.
Breakfast was outstanding. Great value for money - highly recommended
