Good friends dinner.

Quiet place with good local gastronomy and good service.
Very good quality meat letter.
Delicious homemade desserts.
Possibility of quality accommodation.
View to the Peak Mountain and near the village of Madalena.

I really liked it!

This is something else: A handful of lava stone built "tiny houses", mine was equipped with a bedroom, a small living room with kitchenette and of course a bathroom. Those who expect golden fittings and ebony furniture are wrong here. But you get authenticity and a cozy home for a few days. The equipment is not luxurious, but everything works perfectly. If the weather is very muggy, then you have to start the air conditioning (which works quietly and flawlessly). Andrea, the boss, is very caring and takes care of everything.
Breakfast is not a buffet, but perfectly fine (served in the main house) and the coffee grandiose (promise!).
Through the fridge and the kitchenette you can also prima self-catering, a supermarket is only 10 minutes away by car. But there is also a restaurant in the evening (where breakfast is served in the morning), I ate very fine there once.
I can recommend it if you are looking for peace and relaxation. There are no Halligalli here.
Important: You need a car. But this is probably the case almost everywhere in Pico. For this there is parking directly on the property.

Great food in a beautiful and peaceful place.
Definetely the best place for a vegan delicious meal in Pico Island.
Always I go there the vegan and vegetarian food are amazing and delicious. I specially love the beanes with seitan

A very personal space, beutifull and natural, the food is almost all made in the house, the "bolo levedo" and the meat was wontherfull some vegan starters, chese and good wine made the afternoon memoral. Loved the hospitality and the service was the cherry on the cake... best of luck

Fantastic Food

The owner of "Twin Peaks diving center" recommended the o Farrobo restaurant to us, and we're so happy he did! It can be a bit hard to find, but it's so worth it.
It's a very small place, so you may have to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
We had the steak for 2 both days we were there and it's one of the best pieces of meat we've had - and by far the best meal we had on Pico Island. I really loved the way it was served "family style" and plenty of food, even for our hungry teenager.
Wines were also good, and you must make sure to save a little bit if space for the cheese cake - it's divine (and this is coming from someone, who's not that fond of cheese cake)
