Love the antique furniture and the staff we very kind. Although the hotel room that we stayed in needed some updating especially in the bathroom. Some of the bed linens had stains.

Good location, but the structure needs renovation!

My stay had positive points, but also some situations that ended up damaging the experience.
What I liked most was the location. The hotel is right in the centre of Aveiro, so it was possible to do almost everything on foot. There are markets, restaurants and several points of interest nearby, which made the trip much easier.
The breakfast was also a good surprise. The space is more modern than the rest of the hotel, has a very beautiful view of the city and offers a good variety of food. I liked it.
The room was clean and organized, but the hotel already demonstrates the building age. The bathroom, mainly, would need a renovation. What bothered me most was that when I opened the bathtub tap, the water came out brown in the first seconds, probably because of the old piping. Then she went back to normal, but the first impression was not pleasant.
Another thing I missed was a fridge bar in the room. There is a refrigerator available at the reception, which helps especially for those who need to store medications, but it would be much more practical if each room had its own.
The care, unfortunately, was not the best. At times, the staff were impatient and unhealthy. I didn't have any serious problems, but a more friendly service would definitely make a difference.
I also think it would be a difference if the hotel provided filtered water for guests. In other hotels where I stayed during the trip there were water filters available, and I found this initiative very useful, especially for those who are not used to drinking tap water.
Another important detail is that the hotel does not have its own parking. For those travelling by car, it is worth informing yourself in advance about the parking options in the region.
In the end, I left with a positive impression of the location and breakfast, but I believe that some investments in the structure and a more welcoming service would leave the experience much better.

Its location was good with bars, restaurants, shops and laundromat nearby. Many cobbled streets were vehicle free.

Imperial hotel

The truth of the.first time I went to this disappointment, we arrived and the room told us that it was ready and we went upstairs and they were still cleaning that of fatal cleaning you could see the dust of the pictures for miles, the crib was neither mounted, the next day nor changed our bed, the bathroom were still my hairs to take it out on the floor as one says it was.

The worst experience in Hotel

Oh, bad. Much worse than ALS. Old room, no sockets, a tablet-sized TV, broken balcony door, old bathroom and no comfort, I opened the bedside table and sat with a piece of wood in my hand. I didn't even dare to try the bed would not disintegrate if... I checked in on 7/3 and 15 minutes later checked out. At the reception I asked if they returned the money or if they preferred to write in the complaints book. They returned the money.
