Surf and beach without a car
Hotel very well located facing the beach. Quiet with comfortable rooms and very cozy beds.
Although the lunch buffet was disappointing, breaded chicken and very spicy stewed squid were the main dishes, it is compensated by the snack bar which is varied and of quality, especially for a quick meal. There are many restaurants in the area where you can eat.
The bad thing is that parking in the area in August is impossible and paid. The hotel parking in the basement is fine but it has many leaks that stain the car's paint with lime. They charged us 15 euros per day.
The convenience of the location makes up for it.

Queremos informarle de que, de forma anual, realizamos planes de reforma y mantenimiento en nuestras instalaciones para garantizar su óptimo estado, por lo que lamentamos que la filtración puntual observada en el garaje subterráneo haya afectado a su experiencia. Hemos trasladado este asunto con carácter prioritario a nuestro equipo técnico para subsanar la incidencia de inmediato. Asimismo, revisaremos la propuesta gastronómica del buffet de almuerzo para ofrecer una mayor variedad a nuestros huéspedes.

Good beachfront Hotel
Excellent location in the centre of Costa da Caparica town and beachfront. The Hotel entrance foyer is so beautiful and clean. The rooms are very spacious with a comfortable bed and a spacious balcony with a sea front view that is wonderful and perfect for watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We would just suggest tea/coffee and biscuits in the bedroom to upgrade our experience. The bathroom has a few amenities and good facilities, although difficult to control the water temperature at times. The Paparica hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, there is a good variety of food and the quality is good - However, there were a few dishes (for example the mushrooms at breakfast) contained too much salt (but there were others) and we heard other people commenting the same - Our suggestion to the kitchen is that is better to cook with much less salt as afterwards each client can add the extra salt to their taste. Also not all the food was identified so clients with allergies/intolerances/pregnant might struggle to make their choices (for example I currently do not eat ham/pork but I eat sliced cooked chicken/turkey and there were different cold meats there but not all identified), when I asked Staff about the unidentified ones they were unsure - Our suggestion is to identify each food. Regardless that, it was a good buffet at each meal, the desserts were really good (and their apples are so big, juicy and tasty!). The pool is good with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Last but not least, the Staff was friendly and professional, great hospitality. It was our first time at this Hotel and we enjoyed! We will definitely come back and hopefully our suggestions of tea/coffee facilities in the room plus our suggestions to the kitchen will be addressed by then.

Great location, lovely hotel but some improvements are needed
The hotel is family-friendly, common areas are clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly; other guests are mainly locals and Spanish families with young and grown-up children. There is a library on the 8th floor and a gym/sauna on the underground level.
The hotel has eight floors and three lifts. I have been here for a week, and only two lifts are working; it is impossible to use the lifts, there are huge queues all the time. So if you have a pram, mobility and health issues where you need to use the lift, then, like me, you will be spending half of your day waiting for the lift!!! The management seems not to be too bothered by this.
The rooms are on the small side, basic, and unremarkable. We had a third bed squeezed into a double room, which means we don’t really enjoy being there.
There are no facilities to hang wet clothes on the balcony, not even a rope, which is unusual for a beach hotel and very inconvenient. Our small balcony overlooks the ocean, but we hardly use it because our towels are drying on the chairs.
Beware, the hotel doesn't allow you to take their towels to the beach. So you will need to buy your own.
We have breakfast and supper at the buffet at the hotel. Everything is clean and freshly prepared; the food is delicious and varied. The staff are great and accommodating. There are plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance and very reasonably priced too.
The location is excellent, across from a sandy beach strip. The town is very picturesque and pleasant. It's conveniently located close to Lisbon. There is an excellent bus network, which is efficient and affordable.

Nice place. Would go back. One small think to remember: cleaning crew don’t speak English, remember to put out the do not disturb if you are in the room on day time.
Breakfast is the same every day. Okey selection.

Extremely friendly personnel, nice rooms and very big and tasty breakfast buffet. Only negatives are slow and crowded elevators and rather small spa area that closes already at 6 pm. But otherwise superb hotel with excellent location.
