Super accommodating traditional hotel.

Great Location situated opposite a lovely little restaurant, just a bit further down a slope to the beach and the old town, where there are endless places to eat and drink. With pleasant accommodating staff/owners, we had a 4 night/ 5 day stay in this little traditional hotel. On arrival (quite early morning) the room was not ready, our bags were stored and we were phoned as soon as it was ready for us. The hotel arranged airport transfers, which were great. On the last day we were due to leave the resort at 7pm (check out was 12), however when we asked about bag storage they generously allowed us to keep the room until 7. Very accommodating. The room had a safe, plenty of coat hangers , kettle, fridge, air con, a great shower with soap and shower gel, decent towels and 2 thick beach towels, maid service 5 days a week. The balcony overlooked a small pretty courtyard, that you could see out to from your bed. We bought our own continental breakfast and ate it on the balcony, so felt no rush to go out for breakfast.
On the downside, which was far outweighed by the good points, the room was just clean, not sparkling clean, the cups we used and rinsed out after cups of tea were not changed during our stay making them look pretty grim, (the hotel did not supply tea/coffee, so maybe that’s why), the bed was needing renewing soon and the room decor refreshing.
Although this was not the style of hotel I would normally choose preferring modern clean lines, this place was such good value I would recommend giving it a try.
