Great stay, great value
This is student accommodation, presumably rented out when the students are on holiday. So I found a room with two beds, lots of wardrobe space, two tables, a fridge and a kettle. The bathroom in the corridor was kept spotlessly clean.
I thought the place would be in the back of beyond but it's only 15 minutes/7 tram stops from the centre on tram 50 followed by a 15-minute walk. If you don't like walking you can do tram 50 + tram 20 + a 5-minute walk. There are two mini-markets opposite and a large Lidl a 5-minute walk away.
The halls of residence entrance isn't on the main road, but on the opposite side of the building, so you have to enter the little courtyard from the main road.
The staff are friendly and professional but only speak Polish. So Google Translates is your friend. They were happy to print out my boarding pass when I asked.
I was there in August and everything was very quiet at night and I had great nights' sleep.

It is not a place to sleep during student year
However, if you want to sleep the night, this is NOT the place to go, especially from October to April. This is a specific student residence, you will not be able to sleep from 8 PM to 4 AM (only late the morning)
There are lots of young people who do not have manners and education
They are shouting at 90dB the evening
They do not know how to close a door : they need to slam violently the doors, even when few of them are coming back at 2 AM. They speak very loudly the night into the corridors . it looks like they need to inform all the residence that they are coming back at home the night.
The evening, we are listening also some techno musics, it is not an hotel but a night club, it does not respect the Polish law about that is ruling the fact that in Poland we should respect environment after 10PM.
We can simply wonder how there could be people living here
The place might be the cheapest in Krakow, but this is also a place where you will need earplugs and ear defenders ..
Moreover, the wifi connection was so weak that it is better to use roaming with its own phone.

Great value for money
There was a fridge and the kettle in the room, so you can keep some food and drinks and prepare some hot beverages even in the middle of the night.
