Nice location but service disappointed

The hotel is located in a dreamlike environment directly on the lake – ideal for a relaxing stay. Good cuisine that works at a good level. The food was always fresh and well prepared, and the breakfast buffet was also extremely varied. There was a wide selection, so there was something for every taste.
Unfortunately, the service could not keep up with other departments of the hotel. The staff were largely disinterested. There was no welcome (no good day / good evening just nothing), no recommendations and the team showed hardly any warmth. Even at breakfast, the service left much to be desired – coffee was not refilled, the staff seemed overwhelmed. At the bar, guests were left alone for a very long time without being taken care of, which is absolutely inappropriate for a hotel, although the guest is passed by there was no reaction from the staff, absolutely nothing! It made me feel absolutely uncomfortable during my stay in the service area.
The rooms were just fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. The shower was pleasantly large, but you could see in some places, particularly on the door frame to the bathroom, that the equipment has already become somewhat old and there is a need for renovation.
On the positive side, the friendliness of the reception staff, who ensured a smooth check-in and Check-out, as well as the good performance of the kitchen.
Negative would be the absolute very poor service including especially the bar to highlight!
Overall, the hotel gets a review from me that is just enough, the devaluation mainly due to the more than very weak service. Despite the great location, the varied breakfast and the good cuisine, a bland aftertaste remains due to the lack of commitment of the entire service team including bar.

Nice hotel off the beaten track with its own beach

We spent one night in the hotel from September 30 to October 1. The hotel is very nicely located - outside the center, but close to Olsztyn, with its own beach and a view of Lake Ukiel. The room is quite large and has everything you need - a bed, bedside tables, sofa, shelves, desk with chair, wardrobe. A bit disappointing is the view from the room, which is supposed to be of the lake for an additional fee, but is actually under construction. Only when you approach the window and stand in the middle of it you can see the lake. The bathroom is spacious, as if there was a separate part of the toilet and bathroom, and there is everything you need there.
The hotel beach, sandy, well-kept with a nice view of the lake. For me, the big minus of the hotel is the paid parking - it should be something included in the price.
Tasty breakfasts, but rather average quality products. Apart from hot scrambled eggs, there are also eggs, egg paste, cottage cheese and a big plus for a large amount of vegetables - spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, olives.
For us, the hotel's greatest asset is its restaurant - the à la carte dishes we tried are simply delicious! We ordered halibut and trout - in a reduced version, as we don't eat carbohydrates, but there were no problems with replacing them with vegetables. Everything was delicious, but the trout fillet with crayfish exceeded my wildest expectations. The dish was so delicious that we extended our hotel stay the next day to stay until the restaurant opened and taste it again. This is the best trout dish I've ever eaten - and I haven't eaten meat for over a dozen years, so fish is my everyday life. Everything fits perfectly in this dish. Just hats off to the chef!
To sum up, we definitely recommend staying at this hotel for a quiet break in the bosom of nature and we strongly encourage you to try the dishes from the hotel restaurant.

Nice but could do so much better

Hotel in great location right on the lakeside beach.
The hotel has been extended and renovated. The reception, bar and restaurant areas are now very good and modern. The rooms and long corridors have been adapted and improved but they’re not quite up the same standard. Bathroom and shower decent.
Whilst the a/c worked well, the lack of black out curtains and the rather low bed and soft mattress disappointed.
Breakfast was a bit hit and miss.
The food was plentiful but some dishes weren’t hot enough. The coffee and orange juice both from machines were poor, with only Earl Grey and fruit tea bags available on our visit.
Nice patio area at the rear facing the lake but the untended garden detracts from what could be something special.
The initial greeting at reception was efficient but very uninspiring and lacked the warmth and hospitality shown at Warmia Park the previous day.
Overall nice and good base if travelling but could do so much better.

A good hotel

The Hotel is located very close to the lake. It has a big garden. The room was enough large and clean, however it was very standard. I missed table and armchair. The breakfast was tasty. The stay was very pleasant.
