Gdansk City break

Great hotel in a fantastic waterfront location in the old town .We were upgraded to a riverfront view in the third floor .Free bottled water replaced daily , tea,coffee and a reasonably priced and stocked minibar .Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels also . Breakfast was buffet style and catered for many different tastes, so there was something for everyone .Only slight gripe was the shower over the bath , instead of separate shower cubicle but it was functional and sufficient.Overall a good experience in a great city and would definitely return here if we visit again .

Actually a 4.5 out of 5 and the only drawback was that the rooms are somewhat dated. But staff was great, breakfast was excellent quality and great that there was an exercise room. All in all, a good place to stay.

Spotlessly clean. The cleaning staff came in each day and did an amazing job. All the staff we spoke to were kind and lovely.
The location is great. Felt very safe and was an easy walk to the sights. Our double glazed windows kept any street noises out at bedtime.
Kettle and a coffee machine in the room.

Nothing to complain about

The rooms were neat and clean, the breakfast was super good, and the service was also impeccable!
The hotel has a spa and wellness, this we probably did not try but was down and look and it looked good.
Got tried the fitness room. Nothing special about it. It's very small, but there's what you need

Perfect location with excellent breakfast

We were in Gdansk for three days to celebrate the 49th. birthday of my partner.
The city trip could not have been nicer.
The hotel is ideally located right on the water, and all the special sights like Mariacka Street, the Crane, or even St. Mary's Church are reachable within a few minutes' walk.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very generous and beautifully presented. We looked forward to it every morning.
We can absolutely recommend the Hotel Hanza—we would come back here again. There is also a wine bar, where we were served by Lukasz and wonderfully taken care of each time. He is very attentive and added the finishing touch to our city trip.
If there is one thing to criticize, we would replace the pillows—we did not find them particularly comfortable; they are rather cheap, synthetic pillows.
