Great apartment with good standard
The apartment is new, clean and nice. We had views of a construction site, but it wasn't as bad as we feared. In fact, it was a bit entertaining to follow the construction process. We thought it lacked some knagger to hang up clothes and towels and such, but otherwise the apartment was well equipped. Could have been hand soap and clothes in the apartment.

Not worth it! Construction noise and lack of basic amenities
In the photos, you can see the view from the window of our apartment (the developer is building new residential buildings).
The sounds coming from the construction site made it impossible to rest or fall asleep The service – the kids were clueless In an apartment for five people, there were two soap bars and two small towel sets. When we asked for more, we were told that “this is the standard” ❌
On the booking site, of course, there’s a river flowing right under the balcony with a beautiful ship on it Be careful with these apartments, they definitely aren’t worth their price unless you enjoy sleeping on a construction site ❌⛔

Nice locations, but looked nothing like the booking site pics! 3 out 5 MAX
The location is amazing, walking distance to everything. The kitchen facilities were great, with extra duvets and pillows which was great.
on the negative, they clearly cheaped out and split a set of curtains between the living room and the bedroom, so not only did they not cover the window, but they were so see-through they did nothing even if they were 2 in a room, it was constantly light and too bright to sleep!
The pictures also looked nothing like the website, absolutely nothing. It was nice enough and served it purpose, but the check in process which consisted of not finding the buiding as the googlemaps locations took us 2 rads down the wrong way, and the keys in the wrong place, and resulted in a very expensive call to get the correct location only to be rudely told to read my email, even though we both did and did as instructed!
I'd give the over all experience a 3/5 for what we paid.

Nice apartment, but some disadvantages
Nice apartment, but some disadvantages
We stayed three people in this apartment and think it was nice and well equipped. The location is quiet, but be aware that there is a small piece to walk into the old town.
Already after the first night we all noticed that we were scratching, and we are not sure if it came from the towels or the bed linen. City tax had to be paid before arrival, and deposit upon picking up the key – well to know in advance.
We were generally satisfied with the stay, but the experience was unfortunately withdrawn when we came home and received an email claiming that a towel had a permanent stain. We were charged 330 kroner for this, which we find quite unreasonable. We are three ladies wearing makeup, and there may be something on the towel, but we believe that this should be expected wear and not the basis for such a high compensation.
Overall: nice apartment, but the experience with itching and post-facting unfortunately draws down the overall impression.

THE HORROR - NEVER BLUE MANADRIN AGAIN!
We booked an apartment for 21 days at Bluemandarin Riverside, and unfortunately the entire experience is a nightmare. As soon as we arrived, we noticed that the building is in the middle of renovation work. The elevator is covered with plexiglass, and the noise – drilling, hammering, and tapping – it starts every morning from 7 a.m. and continues into the evening hours. Simply unbearable and inhumane!
We immediately contacted the office to ask how long this construction would take. The employee pretended she didn't know about the work and pointed out that Booking.com stated that the site was outside the building. This may be true, but the noise is in the building itself – directly above and below us, as well as on the same floor. Anyone who experiences this knows how nerve-wracking it is.
We were then offered dummy solutions, such as moving to two other apartments. When we asked for the links to these apartments, she said she would email them to us. We waited right in the office and updated our phones several times, assuming the mail was about to arrive. But then it became clear that she had simply lied to us. When she realized that we didn't want to leave, she suddenly claimed that the apartments had "just" been booked and were no longer available.
To make matters worse, we later learned that she is the manager of the building – although she pretended to have to consult the "manager" first. Her outrageous lies and the fact that she stalled us for several days with alleged solutions, only to eventually stop coming forward at all, are simply inhumane.
We visit this city regularly and can only advise everyone not to book here. Choose providers like Downtown or Citystay instead – we have had a much better experience there so far!
We reported the case to Booking.com and also turned on legal and consumer protection.

After a lot of effort, time and stress and several phone calls with Booking we got a new apartment – but it is an absolute imposition ! She is extremely clairvoyant, barely gets sunlight and looks like a garage. The furniture looks like it's from a flea market, and the bathroom stinks. All in all, the accommodation is really terrible.
If you want to save yourself all this, you should definitely book with Downtown or Citystay!
