overly good, but not in summer time

Hotel and staff very helpful and friendly. When it comes to management and owners not so friendly at all. The biggest surprise was the falsehood in amenities. The hotel is air conditioned, but with a single unit for the entire building, that was shutdown at 10pm each night. There was no individual room thermostats or regulation. they were lucky that my mother, who suffers from lung problems, didn't need an ambulance in the night because of how stifling and heavy the air was in our hotel room!

some good and some really not so good

If you get a room far away from the restaurant (which is often very loud in the evenings) you should be satisfied with the room. Clean and spacious. Housekeeping is prompt. We got a tea kettle from the reception (but you need to ask for it). The restaurant is ok, the breakfast is generous. The problems begin when there is a loud dancing party in the restaurant. Eating there at that time is basically impossible due to the loudness of music. Some dishes at the restaurant take forever to prepare (esp. fish dishes). The only main complaint of mine is the rudeness and total apathy of the female receptionist staff, unable to communicate clearly and elegantly. It feels that hotel guests are a burden for the hotel! People in the hospitality business are a window into the country. Please train your employees.

Excellent hotel

We are traveling here every year with my girlfriend. Service is really good - always helpful and has a lot of knowledge about local attractions and restaurants. Speaking of restaurant - rydzewski hotel has really good food
