Excellent place in the center

We stayed in Gold, it has comfortable apartments, in the center of Tacna, it had WiFi, cable and a garage, a few steps from the main square, very quiet, good location, we had a good time, you have to call the number 990308584, They serve with reservations

The Gold-apt hotel had plumbing problems and thus sent us to a other apt-hotel called "Patagonia" which was nearby. The second night at "Patagonia" we returned to the hotel about 7pm. The entrance door was locked and no one answered the doorbell. We also called the phones listed on their card, but no one answered. We stood there about 30 min until finally another guest came downstairs to open the door for us.Another half hour later the owner returned saying that he had to go out shopping. We consider this behavior unacceptable. It is dangerous to stand alone outside at night with our bags. Such behavior should be sanctioned Standing outside, we called the Gold Apt Hotel, and they offered to call the owner of Patagonia but never called me back.

Lots of potential

Firstly, our taxis driver had a terrible time finding the hotel. The hotel is located on a side street very close to a huge department store. The location was good, a short walk to the main cathedral and main square. We were not expecting a three bedroom apartment so was pleasantly surprised. We arrived early, deposited our luggage and returned after 1 pm to check in. The apartment was ready, clean, bright and spacious, but there were several unusual things wrong: the 1 mirror in the whole apartment was taped on the wall! There was a telephone located behind the fridge! The windows did not lock (we were on the third floor)! It was an apartment but bowls or dish towels were not supplied? There were two bathrooms but only one had hot water. These things didn't affect our two night stay.
Be aware that there are no elevators. Also, there was traffic noise at night. The staff tried to be helpful. The wifi didn't work but a staff member lent us her cell phone (we paid for time in advance) so we could call our son on his birthday the next day. Unfortunately, her cell phone battery died. Expecting this, she drove back into town the following evening to exchange phones.

Günstig gelegen zum Stadtzentrum und zu einem Supermarkt mit Schnellrestaurants.
Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Geschäftsführer, der sich persönlich um die Gäste kümmert, Fragen beantwortet und Ratschläge gibt. Ideal für kleine Reisegruppen (Apartments verfügbar mit jeweils drei Doppelbett-Schlafzimmern, Aufenthaltsraum und Küche).
