Complete and luxurious experience
We loved it. Great family experience. Especially the pool, which is indeed heated.
They provided us with a tour of the vineyards and the car museum exhibition at no additional cost.
The bottles of wine and sparkling wine are at a super good price and you can enjoy them in the pool.
It has a large whirlpool next to the pool. (super hot)

Unpleasant experience
The hotel grounds and facilities are absolutely beautiful, and the service at the restaurant and bar was excellent. A special thank you to Renzo, who provided outstanding service at the pool and restaurant. He was attentive, professional, and truly enhanced our experience.
Unfortunately, the service at the reception desk was extremely disappointing. The Reception desk is the first point of contact for guests and sets the tone for the entire stay. Both Geraldine and the attending manager Manuel Carruitero lacked professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer service skills. Sadly, the experience we received did not reflect the standards expected of a five-star hotel.
I am a world traveler, I did my research before traveling to Peru and I picked the Hotel Hacienda Viñas Queirolo because it has five stars and I wanted to have a good time with my friends whom we had just celebrated our 50 Class reunion. I booked a Family Junior Suite (for 4 people)
I told Geraldine that I have a friend (who actually lives in Ica) and was going to join us for lunch and the Wine Tour, I told her that I would paid for her Tour S/120 soles and whatever she consumes at the restaurant. Then she immediately said but she couldn’t use the installations and I said what do you mean? She said she could not use the pool, but if she wants to, there is an S/80 soles charge. Honestly I couldn’t believe it ( is a 5 star hotel ) I told her I can’t believe this, she said: those are the rules ! ( not polite at all) and I said that charge doesn’t make sense at all, S/80 soles for using the pool for three hours versus S120 soles for a Wine Tour, which included Tour of the winery, the Bodega, stop at the Mirador (view point) and Wine and Pisco tasting, she just kept repeating those are the rules, those are the rules . I asked for her supervisor or manager and then came Manuel Carruitero, same story, impolite with an angry face and repeating the same thing, I tried to tell him is not about the S/80 soles only, it’s about that there isn’t a relation between the cost of using the pool and the cost of the Tour, that is when I realized it went over his head and neither him or Geraldine would understand the point, so I decided to just paid for it and not waste my time with them.
But the bad experience did not end there, after taking the Wine Tour we walked to our room so our visiting friend could pick up her purse and belongings because she had already called for her ride to pick her up. The minute we walked into the room the phone rang, it was again Geraldine from the reception telling me that my friend has to leave the room immediately because she is not allowed to be in the room (again in her ruthless way) I told her she went to pickup her purse and again she started repeating everything like she is just reading it off the computer (that’s what she did on the first encounter) I said to her you have no common sense, we are older ladies, what do you think? That my friend is going to steal something, that we are going to sneak her in a room that is for four people? We are not teenagers I told her, she again said she must leave the room immediately . This sadly left me with a bitter taste about the Hotel.
While the property itself is lovely, the poor reception service left a negative impression that should be addressed by management.
They should have more polite, educated and trained people to comply with the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars they claim.
