Very good

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and the attention from Didiam and Génesis is incredible.
The hotel has shortcomings, but it is clearly the best in the area; it is very cozy, and the tranquility is impressive. The beaches are among the best.

Nice island getaway

This was a nice little getaway for us. We wanted to explore Panamá and Isla Grande came up. So we took a trip up for a couple days. Little did we know we’d find this beautiful hotel on the island with a restaurant and full bar. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. I would return for another trip.

A Public, Private Island Escape

Our family chose to visit Isla Grande and stay at Candy Rose during our 2 month stay in Panama. This hotel is very nice and well maintained. It’s like a boutique hotel. The hotel staff are nice and provide good Panamanian service(this is import because service in Panama is very sub par compared other places). I hated the restaurant. They tried to overcharge us. Breakfast is included. I brought water from the Bodega next door with me to breakfast. I finished it. I ordered water with my breakfast. The waitress, who took our orders & knew she didn’t bring me water before the one I ordered tried to charge me for 2 waters. I told her that it was wrong because I brought one and the other was with my breakfast & she refused to listen. Our first night there we ordered drinks, on the second day we had drinks that we purchased from the bodega, so my partner only had one beer. The waitress had our bill reflect a duplication of the drinks from the first night. A scam. Check your bill!
The restaurant sucks. They didn’t have a lot of things on the menu available. Which is odd because the store & fisherman are literally 2 steps away…I was even given a free lobster while finishing hiking. This is a management issue.
I was so excited to go to the beach until I realized they let the fisherman clean the fish right in their part of the beach. Yes even with the boundary. The fishermen lift the rope up & push their boats in & clean there fish there. Sorry, not sorry. I don’t want to play in fish guts.
The hotel was also empty & we were right beside a couple that our 4 year old could hear having orgasms through the walls.
The hotel does have good WiFi, great pool, very clean. They just need to make it more holistic.

They fill their premium liquor with non premium liquors, and add water. Stay away.

didn't stay hear, but ate here twice. great cocktails and food.
