The modern hotel Discovery is located in Panama City’s centre. Free Wi-Fi throughout the property, and free covered parking with 24-hour security. Rooms come with a king-size bed or 2 double beds. Each has a telephone, air conditioning and cable TV.

The hotel is a little outdated, but everything was in order. If you don't mind things a bit old and worn, it's a great budge hotel. The the room was spacious with a desk, chair and mini fridge, the shower was hot, the sheets, towels and room clean, the staff friendly and a breakfast of eggs and toast included. The location was great, parks nearby, ocean front park 2 blocks away with a "Panama" sign. Streets looked and felt safe, yes there were some homeless people but less than I have seen elsewhere in the city. Bonus - a low budget restaurant across the street for supper with a very friendly proprietor couple.

Very Basic Bed & Breakfast. It's an older hotel, only 2 blocks from Loteria metro station. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room is very clean. The water is hot. The breakfast is scrambled eggs and toast. Cold air conditioning, VERY loud. Only 1 outlet in room, where Wi-fi is inconsistent. Good Wi-Fi in lobby and dining area. Good choice for a Budget Traveler with business in the city. Would stay there again.

No face towels, no soap. Doors were missing door handles. Some of the beds in our group had “stains” on the bed sheets. Had to sleep with clothes on - on top of the bed. Complimentary breakfast was toast with an egg…..Lots of homeless people hanging around the hotel area.
Would not recommend this hotel.

The room was a little rough, but clean. It was everything I needed and was close to the water for an amazing price. the front desk people were very helpful and nice.

The hotel was really old, my room wasn’t comfortable, but staff was really good!
