Ok for a day trip
Very nice little B&B. Gabriella lives on site and was a great hostess. The island is not very big and you can walk end to end in about 30-45 minutes. Limited rearaurants available. Two small stores where you can buy water and essentials. Not recommended to drink the tap water. There were no toiletries provided except antibacterial hand soap. Beaches are 15-45 minutes walks. No sidewalks so walking is on roads and lots of golf carts and construction vehicles all day.

Optimal for your money. Very friendly and attentive attitude.
Friendly, attentive and caring staff. I was pleased: always in touch, quickly responding, helping to find a carrier to the island, meeting and seeing off, taking into account requests, in our case, cotton linen, change of towels, late check-out from the room. Our Gyacamaya room had one bed, a spacious refrigerator, TV with cable channels, air conditioning, a fan, a small safe, a spacious bathroom with a spacious shower. On the street there is a terrace with furniture and a large awning for relaxing and sunbathing. They provide beach towels and a set of two large + two small towels for everyday use. I advise you to take repellents and fumigators, because on the green tropical island someone will get bitten. Food and water in local stores are expensive. For example, a bottle of water costs $5, 4 bananas $1.5, 2 apples $1. The jamon and cheese are cosmic, they paid almost $15 for two packages. It’s better to bring something with you; this host does not offer breakfast. There is a large common kitchen with tables and everything you need for cooking. Of the minuses, I would like to note the noise of our room, since it is closest to the kitchen, you can always hear someone and it is difficult to sleep.

Amazing hospitality and fantastic service.
We were picked up at the ferry burly the smiling and accommodating hostess. She told us about the island and took us to the b&b. The rooms are great and clean. Silent aircon. Helped us organizing our stay in the island. Perfect place to stay for 3-4 days.

Would not be my first choice
This was booked by our travel agent, and is a pretty simple place. Very quiet, as is the entire island. Our breakfast was to be included and Roxana confirmed that, yet at the end of our trip (just prior to her taking us to the dock) Roxana made us pay $36 for breakfast. Not cool. TV was out "due to rain". Also, we rented a golf cart for 1 day ($70) which ended up running out of juice within the first 3 hours. Got a replacement golf cart with steering issues. Decided to try again ($70) for our next 24 hours, and recieved the first one back.The island is beautiful and remote, 2 restruants open (off season). No water available at property. Property is a tad disappointing!

Hospitality is the missing ingredient
Stayed 2 nts @ end of April 2022. Had to wait a half hour for their transportation to the inn from the ferry dock although it's less than a mile away. This property is sometimes referred to as the Hotel Contadora Island Inn. The word 'Hotel' is misleading as this is basically just a home where several rooms have been rented out. Upon check-in the owner informed us that there was no breakfast due to Covid. This is understandable, but putting out juice, fruit, or bread for the guests would have been welcome. Also, there is no bottled water on the property. Instead guests are told to walk down to Angelina's Restaurant to buy water. Not a long walk, but it's down a steep hill. Not good for anyone with mobility issues. Simply having bottled water/soft drinks available for sale on site would have been a nice touch. Finally, although our ferry back to PTY was due at 3.30 pm, the owner drove us to the ferry dock a full hour and a half early. Why? Because unbeknownst to us he has a side job of helping coordinate the ferry departures. So we sat around in the heat for 1-1/2 hrs for no good reason. It's one thing to hang a shingle calling your business an Inn. It's quite another to provide the minimum degree of hospitality and service that guests expect. Unfortunately, the Contadora Island Inn missed the mark.
