Nice Place

We stayed in the Deluxe Family Room. This is not overwater, but just on the side of the land with a porch that extends over the water. I specifically chose this property and room as we needed space for two parents and two teenagers. The cabin has two bedrooms (one queen and one with two twins). The lower level has the bathroom (small but fine) and a small living room/kitchen area. There is no AC on the lower level, but that was ok. You can easily get a water taxi to Bocas town for $1/person day $2/person night. The breakfast is cooked to order, which was good. The owner was accommodating for our minor requests.
There is a lot of noise from the water taxis and from Aqua nightclub.
Keep in mind that Carenero has *a lot* of tiny sand flies and we all got bitten up (even with using bug spray). So bringing insecticide is a must.

Great location fresh breakfast

Fabulous location on the water and great home cooked breakfast to order.
Water taxi ride from the main island.
Owners could have helped a bit more with local tips and transport.

Clean and cozy and located close to everything

Great location close to the main island with some great restaurants and a nice beach only minutes away.
Rooms are clean and cozy with air conditioning that works well.

Beautiful, beautiful place in a very unique setting. We will always remember the very special breakfast. Before you order anything, you will be in for a treat!

Nice simple rooms.
It was clean and you had the amenities needed. Breakfast in the morning was good and you can see lots of fish from your deck.
The taxi boats zooming past are more entertaining than annoying
