The staff was super! Friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Nice balcony. Enjoyed the jetted tub! Handy kitchenette with small fridge and cooktop. 15 min walk to a wide, flat beach, great for strolling. Highly recommend!!

Great hotel. On arrival I was upgraded to an Executive Studio on the upper level, with a jetted tub. Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower over the bath, well equipped kitchenette, easy parking, friendly host on reception. Good location close to the seashore and on the main road, but that does make it quite noisy if you have the balcony door open. So why the less than stellar rating? When I searched for a hotel in Nelson, I chose this property over a couple of others because the room description of every room at this property lists a "Safe" in the "More" section. I mentioned this inaccuracy to the host on check out, but they were dismissive about it. I think that accuracy and honesty are important. I know that the "Property amenities" section lists a "Safe at front desk", but that is not the same thing.
