Wonderful place to stay

We had a lovely stay in a queen ensuite room. Friendly front of house and a lovely on site restaurant which served a great meal.

Lovely place, great vibe.

My teenage daughter and I stayed here two nights after doing the Heaphy track. Was such a lovely place to relax. We booked a room with shared bathroom and kitchen, and it was great, really comfortable, and the shared kitchen/lounge is nice. Beds were so comfy!
Maggie who runs the place is so friendly and helpful and gave us perfect recommendations for what to do on our free day (checking out the Moria Arch is definitely worth it).
We ate at the restaurant one night and it was delicious, and the second night we self-catered and the kitchen was easy to use and had everything we needed.
The whole place has also just got a real nice vibe, the design and garden beds all have a laid back resort feel that is just cool. I'm sure there's a name for it - the style of wood and plants and circle windows, but I don't know it. It has a great retrol feel though!
I would 100% stay here again.

Warm, welcoming, lovely and clean.

I stayed at the Last Resort after completing the Heaphy Track. Such a lovely, welcoming place to stay. We arrived to cosy, warm rooms, with clean linen, had showers and a delicous meal in the restaurant. Well priced and highly recommend.
