Really lovely hotel by the train station in Voss. Lovely atmosphere in the bar and breakfast also great.
Charging £15 for early check in when our room was ready seemed a bit unnecessary, but that's company policy for you.

The access via car or uber was terrible and incredibly unclear on how to access. Had we known we would have changed hotels.

Room was lovely, bathroom nice too. Enjoyed the views of the lake. Light switches were a bit confusing! Breakfast was outstanding with incredible amount of choice.
Unfortunately we were turned away from the restaurant for our evening meal, even though we were just a couple and the restaurant was literally empty when we arrived, but they said large groups were booked in. The restaurant they recommended, round the corner was excellent though.
Very convenient location right on the railway station and next to the cable car. Small shop in reception and games in the bar.

Clean and well maintained rooms. Very helpful staff. Not a big problem but some of the typical amenities like a kettle or tissues are missing.

Excellent location for all that Voss has to offer

We stayed one night at the Scandic, the location is perfect for the attractions of Voss, located at the train station and next to the Gondol. Clean tidy rooms and a comfortable reception area.
Try and time your check in to not clash with either a train or coach arriving, we went and had a coffee to let the queue go down. Staff on reception super helpful.
