Perfect stay

This hotel is perfectly situated a short walk from rail station and with, all staf were extremely helpful, the restaurant was excellent with a good choice.

Nice hotel

Nice rooms with mini kitchen. Quite ok standard. Nice view if you can fit the mountain.
The restaurant was unexpectedly high standard.

Not convincing enough.

The hotel was quite busy and as last time the hotel makes a sombre impression because everything is dressed so darkly. The receptionist was very businesslike and without empathy, short and to the point. Weird that you have to pay for parking around the hotel when it says it is reserved for hotel guests. In addition, parking is quite expensive and that for a night parking.... the receptionist was very short and businesslike about this too. The rooms are quite large and fortunately nicely decorated. There is even a desk and seating area. The bathroom is not large but comfortable with shower. The beds are good and the location of the hotel ensures peace. You can also have dinner there but quite limited access and is not so well regarded. That is why we ate in the village within walking distance. We slept at the front with a view of the ski resort. The breakfast buffet is limited but certainly adequate and quite a lot of fresh produce. In summary not bad but not really convincing either.

Pathetic hotel, restaurant is a scam, receptionist is awful

The room itself is very worn, there is old dirty carpet (even stuck-on chewing gum that pulls at your shoes when you walk…). Empty alcohol bottles were lying in the closet when we arrived and the lights on one side of the bed did not work. But the worst part is the restaurant for the evening meal…. The front desk strongly encouraged us to book very quickly to get a spot, which we did without hesitation. But once at the restaurant, there was not a soul in sight and we quickly realized that we had been ripped off. Frozen fries and burgers that were raw in the middle, with the quality of a "fast-food" restaurant, which we sent back after two bites. Not to mention that we expected much better for the price of 490 NOK. After discussing it with the server, he assured us that we would not be charged for this meal. But to our surprise, in the morning when returning the keys before leaving the hotel, we were informed that we would have to pay for half of the previous night's meal. They say that we ate half of the meal. Not only is it a pathetic hotel, but it also has mediocre customer service. Furthermore, BEWARE…parking is not free and the front desk did not inform us of this. For these reasons, BEWARE of this hotel, which in our opinion, has a dishonest side.

We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but it was a cozy room, comfortable beds, and the breakfast was great. It was off-season, so parking was no problem, but I could see it getting complicated at other times.
