Absolutely fantastic stay

Booked a romantic stay at Thon. We got absolutely what we expected. Roseblades slipped up the bed and the floor. Place a delicious fruit barrel with macrons and spicy water cooled on the side. Very pleased. We got a view of the harbour which was absolutely superb. Thon delivers on all points. Breakfast was inviting and delicious. Thanks for us who got the wedding night we missed at another hotel❤️

Lovely stay in Bodo

As most people do, we stopped in Bodo for the ferry to Lofoten. We were given a lovely family room with a view on the small harbor which is in my opinion the loveliest part of town. Hotel meets Thon standard: good service, amazing breakfast, nice modern rooms with comfortable bed, spotless bathroom. Our room was large and the sight from the window was beautiful. On the way back frm the islands we stopped here again and we were given the same room (this is great customer service).
The restaurant EGON, easygoing, offers a large selection of food, our choices proved very good and we dined there a second time on the way back because we all liked the place and food.
Bodo is a stopover, town has not much to offer, but this hotel is nice and probably in the most charming part of town, so I would definitely recommend it.

my first choice in Bodo

Central location, 10mins walk from airport and trainstation, room is new, clean and functional, excellent breakfast, friendly and professional staff.

Amazing Service. Good location. Enjoyed Breakfast!

We transited through Bodø, from the airport, it was a short walk from the airport. We asked to leave our bags as we would be staying at the hotel a few days later, and were offered this courtesy, as well as tea/coffee, and a note (on our room reservation for when we returned. Which we did.
Do note: to walk from the airport, cross the street at the light / crosswalk. Proceed straight into the residential neighborhood. Walk on the sidewalk towards the water front. Turn right and you are at the hotel. It's quite easy if you travel light.
We did of course fly back via Bodo and stayed at the Nordlys. Everything was nice and modern in the room. Breakfast (as typical of Thon hotels) was lovely. Everyone quite helpful at the front desk as to getting around and recommendations.

Stylish Waterfront Stay with One of Norway’s Best Breakfasts

Waterfront location overlooks the marina with beautiful views of the boats and sea. 12 minute walk from the airport and 7 minute to the ferry terminal. Room is modern, clean, and well designed. Typical Scandinavian size but makes excellent use of the space. Convenient outlets, well planned lighting, a rain shower, and a very comfortable bed made the stay easy and relaxing. The room was also quiet, with excellent blackout curtains for a great night’s sleep.
Breakfast was the highlight. The selection went beyond the usual buffet. Fresh smoothies, Japanese okonomiyaki, shakshuka, sautéed mushrooms, and Nespresso cappuccinos were all excellent.
With its stylish rooms, peaceful setting, and exceptional breakfast, Thon Hotel Nordlys is highly recommended.
