Feel like home

I arrived quite late in the afternoon without booking. I found a lovely place to stay for a couple of days. Feel like home. I left friday 6:30 after an excellent night. Clean room, nice bathroom. Sure I will come back for my next professional trip in Germany.

Very basic

Clean but very, very basic.... no fridge as advertised, no kettle or cups. Definitely no extras ... the thin, old duvets need replacing urgently. The pillows were filled with bits of foam. The towels were small.
It was expensive, considering how small and basic it was... but then there is no competition in the town.

Never again

Terrible management. Turned away a CLEARLY labeled package (quite large too), which resulted in loss of money in band merch sales and additional express shipping charges for a new shipment. Never even apologized. Instead, the manager started mocking me. Rooms are average at best and the food is kind of ok. Avoid if you can.

Charming family run hotel on edge of town centre

Needing a base for the weekend as we attended a nearby event, the Hotel Europa ticked all the boxes. Good location just on the edge of town, limited on site car parking, restaurant in the hotel, good price for the front of hotel room. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished with a compact but very efficient bathroom. The large windows gave us views over the edge of town car park which never got busy. The only noise coming into the room was from passing tractors bringing the crops in, which really wasn't a problem if you closed the windows at bedtime. A good, honest hotel with no surprises. The father and son combo were friendly, warm and welcoming - perfectly suited to the hospitality business. A great stay - thank you.

Quaint and Quiet

We stayed in Room 2, for two weeks, while visiting the region. The room had a feeling of good space with windows which could actually open. The bathroom was tiny, however, with a protruding sink which should be half the size, considering the room shape.
Otherwise, the water pressure of the shower and modern "feel" of the bathroom were quite satisfactory.
It was easy to return to the room after a day touring, to find it once again cleaned, beds made up and all sorted.
Staff are friendly- in particular the lovely Katja, manager, who speaks English and is keen to ensure her guests are happy and comfortable.
Parking is limited on site, but there is a good car park opposite the hotel. Supermarkets are only about a five minute walk away, and the historic village with its authentic German bakeries, also within a short flat walking distance.
The hotel has a restaurant which is well frequented by the locals.
If you are looking for a quaint, old style German hotel- still using room keys rather than swipe cards- and stairs to the upper floors rather than lifts, with European style breakfast available, this hotel will give you a back in time experience.
Clean, comfortable, cosy and quaint.
