A secret gem of a hotel in Wolfsburg!

My son and I stayed here during a recent visit to Wolfsburg and the Autostadt. Parking behind the hotel was great. The hotel entrance opens up to the main shopping street in town too! Friendly staff and quiet, restful stay. My family and I will stay here again soon! Highly recommended!

If you must visit, it is in a good location

I cannot imagine anyone visiting Wolfsburg unless they have business with the VW group (or they are really going for some record on cities visited on TA).
But when necessity calls, and you must visit, staying in the Porsche Hotel is an "Ok" option, despite some drawbacks.
Pros
This is an independent hotel, impeccably clean and well run, with a nice breakfast and a good location. The hotel is right on the main pedestrian area. "Exciting" is not a word I would use to describe the area, but it has all the basics for a quick stay.
The hotel also offers parking, which is a plus.
It is a short walk to a number of restaurants and bars, the train and bus stations, and the football stadium. Everything is pretty close by, as the town is quite small.
Cons
This was probably the smallest room I ever stayed in. The city was completely taken, and this was the last room available, so no complaints there. But it is small, with a single bed, a 14" TV, which, in relation to the room is actually big, and no air conditioning.
The lack of AC was a problem because the room was in the top floor (low ceiling) and I was there on perhaps the warmest day of the year (31 C). I am not taking anything away on the ratings because I know that the whole situation was quite exceptional. Most of the time an AC is not need in Wolfsburg, and the hotel has bigger rooms.
All in all, it is Wolfsburg. You come here thinking about when to leave, so this hotel is as good as any as an option to stay.

Functional, convenient and quiet

It does not have your typical hotel front and is a bit tricky to find. The GPS will tell you to turn into the center walking area of the shopping area OR take you around back and have you drive apparently the wrong way on a 1 way rd. That is the way to get to their free parking area. It is just up on the left. After you park, take the stairs down to the left and press the bell button to summon the front desk. Tell them your name and you are there to check in and the door will buzz. You will walk through the dark "service tunnels" and climb to sets of stairs if you don't like elevators. The elevator takes you up 2 floors to the reception area. That is also the breakfast area.
I got the cheap single room which was modeled after Harry Potters room at his Aunts house. LoL the bed is literally under one of two angled slopes in the room ( # 26). The bed is small and surprisingly comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the space is truly ample for 1 person. I am sure the rooms for 2 or more are much bigger.
If you are allergic to climbing stairs, go elsewhere.
The location is GREAT. You are within walking distance of everything cool to do in Wolfsburg.
The owner speaks good English and seems to be a great guy.
My room did not have a/c that i could see but it was 55 degrees outside so it wasn't needed. I left the window cracked and slept fine.
There is a pull down black out shade so the sun rising at 5am will not wake you up.
I stayed there two nights and would have no problem staying again

Very Nice Hotel in Central Wolfsburg

I stayed here for a single night while visiting Wolfsburg to watch a football match. the hotel is very central - maybe a 10 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof. I did struggle a bit to locate it at first and ended up going in via the back entrance. If you go down the main street, you will see it on the right hand side about half way down - this is a much better way to access it!
Once inside, the owner was very friendly, checked me in quickly and advised on the best way to get the football. The rooms were good, clean, decently sized and had bathrooms with a nice hot shower.
Although it was a Sunday so everything around was pretty much closed, there are some places to eat and drink within a few minutes of the hotel.
If you are planning to come here, I would recommend making time to visit the Autostadt - it looks very impressive and I am annoyed I didn't make the time to visit.
A great hotel and I fully recommend it.

Central and convenient independent hotel

Booked 4 rooms for one night. Location is in the town centre. Free car park off service road at rear of hotel. Found Wolfsburg to be very quiet.
Friendly welcome and quickly checked in. Walking distance to a number of bars and restaurants. We were attending the football match and the stadium reached on foot c.20 min.
Rooms functional but comfortable. At night reception closes and keys include front door access. Honesty bar operates.
Breakfast buffet plentiful and reasonably priced at 7 Euros.
I think this is a very good choice for Wolfsburg. Independent ownership gives a very personal touch.
Efficient checkout in the morning and quick access to road network
