Maybe you'd better eat at the rest stop after all
We were passing through last Sunday and thought for lunch better a typical Bavarian restaurant than a motorway service station. Hence exit down.
I ordered a Bavarian roast pork with potato dumplings and coleslaw on the recommendation of the waiter, my wife took the deer goulash with pretzel dumplings and blue cabbage. The coleslaw was by far the best thing about my food, the two dumplings a little bigger than golf balls and inferior in taste to a pannik dumpling. Unfortunately, the worst part was the sauce, almost black and more viscous than a sourbread sauce. Any finished product, doesn't go to roast pork. That the deer goulash is not always made fresh is self-evident, but the meat should at least be warm inside. So please let the microwave run a little longer. The three slices of pretzel dumplings were brown-fried in the pan, probably to hide the age that blue cabbage totally boils.

No sign of hospitality
I was at the restaurant for dinner with friends and family on the occasion of my birthday.
Even when booking, the sound on the phone was unfriendly. We just had the honour of reserving 8 seats, as it was a Monday there was unfortunately no alternative in the area. Expect an old-fashioned dining room and loveless table with an artificial dtrohflower in the middle. I'm sure it's still standing. The coronation was the most unfriendly waiter in Germany. He should receive a negative price. Not a friendly word ,senseless discussion about a misdeclared menu and finally a billing error of 17 euros to my disadvantage which I fortunately noticed immediately.
My birthday was clouded by it. It should be a nice evening with friends. I can't recommend this restaurant, especially since the food is even mediocre.

No assistance
We are currently locked out of our room! After warning already last night of a problem with the key opening the door of our room, we were assured that the problem would be solved today... tonight we arrive at 10.30 pm, so not a night-time .. and the door of the room does not open... emergency numbers do not answer anyone because the phone rings in an empty reception.... to avoid like the plague!

Not again
Dirty old and moldy.
Bathroom dated as well as the entire hotel , no air conditioning. Very stuffy and warm inside.
Fresh air was missing, toilet seat was loose.
Mold in room 214, toilet runs continuously does not stop after several presses.

A case for hygiene supervision
The room only looks tidy and clean at first glance. However, you quickly notice that it is showing its age. You can feel the springs (or whatever) on the mattress. The bedside lamps have lost their brass shine and show very clear signs of wear and rust, with dusty cables that have been carelessly and simply knotted together. They also have a torn lampshade. They should have been thrown away long ago. One bedside table also has paint splatters, probably from someone painting the wall. The same goes for the seal in the entrance area. Someone obviously wanted to avoid having to cover it up. Loveless! The TV, from the now cheap Chinese brand Grundig, blares and occasionally has a pixelated image due to poor reception (note: no reception disruption due to bad weather, it was clear and sunny).
Now I come to the bathroom! It “exudes” the charm of the 80s. That would still be bearable. What is unbearable, however, is the completely worn, scrubbed shower tray and the tiles, whose joints already show clear signs of mold. The silicone joints, which were very carelessly pasted on, also show these signs. The seals on the glass partition are partially torn off, hanging down and also show clear signs of mold. The toilet seat is also worn and has brownish discoloration. The door to the bathroom has such a worn handle that I don't even want to guess the date of manufacture. In addition, the wood veneer is frayed in the lower area.
Dear old landlord, the name of the inn and hotel is clearly saying something here.
There may be different opinions about whether or not you can still rent a room like this. But if so, then not at such a price. The breakfast is acceptable at a price of €10, but definitely not the moldy cheese. My tolerance limit is now zero here! No, I will definitely not be coming back, especially since the food is no longer of the standard I knew it was a few years ago.
