Clean and Quiet Pension a Couple of blocks from the city center

I stayed her 1 night. Rooms are clean, simple and functional. Parking behind the hotel. Good breakfast. This is in a quiet area, but very safe and walkable. There is no lift, and each floor only has 4-6 rooms, so be prepared to climb the steps.

Practical place to stay overnight in Weimar

Room was spacious and clean, but we can't call it cosy or comfortable. Decor was stripped-down and lacked proper lamps. There were nice large windows in the bathroom - but not shampoo or soap. And the breakfast was simple, too. Service was only in German.
But room rate was not bad, parking was free, and it is situated in a walking distance to the city of Weimar. So in a category of pensions Hinz & Kunz is 3 stars, and if rated as a hotel, it is a 2-star accommodation.

Great B&B close to downtown

We arrived late and were immediately checked into a nice, spatious room with a big, newly renovated bathroom. The B&B is located 5 minutes from downtown Weimar (on foot). Breakfast was plain, but we got tea to go upon request. Overall, a very nice experience.

Good place to recommend

If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Weimar I can recommend the Pension "Hinz & Kunz". The pension is very close to the the city of Weimar and in a quiet area.
The prices are fair and include breakfast in the attached restaurant. It's a bit unfortune that this restaurant is also used as a smokers- place.
Breakfast is enough with rollers, coffee, sausage and cheese. Ask also for orange juice and fruits and the owner will be happy to serve.
We've had the room number 10 in the top of the pension. Unfortunately, there's no elevator but when the house has been built there was no such requirement. Anyway, the room is nice, big bathroom, round pool and double- bed.

Sleep well in Weimar

Stayed 1 night with family in an ample room at the last floor. No lift. Close to city centre. Parking slot. Beware of coming after 10 pm, there are no place to eat in vicinity.Decent not ovepriced place when you decide to stop in Weimar.
