Pleasant stay
Sure, with this location, it is not easy to snag a room there, at least during the season. So, early booking is recommended, although the cancellation policies are somewhat unusual. The welcome at the reception was friendly and attentive. However, the very good restaurant located in the building is managed separately and closes at 10:00 PM along with the lounge in the hotel lobby, so a nightcap is unfortunately no longer possible there. Most rooms are easily accessible by elevator. Our spacious and well-equipped room had a new bathroom, but the carpet was slowly reaching the end of its lifespan. We slept well, but the duvets, in our opinion, unfortunately could not be classified as the lightweight type. Some non-reservable parking spaces are available at the hotel, and the breakfast met the normal standard. In summary: the location is clearly what makes it, and the price-performance ratio is acceptable.

Short vacation in Waren
Very nice hotel, centrally located, parking lot and garage are available to guests for a fee. Personal e-bikes can be stored and charged in a separate garage. The staff were very accommodating and polite. The breakfast buffet is varied, nothing is missing, but the price is excessive at €16.80 (not included in the room rate). The restaurant in the hotel was OK, the service inattentive and not really polite. The food was nothing special, but enough to satisfy one's hunger.

A beautiful stopover at the Müritz during our Baltic Sea tour.
During our three-day Baltic Sea tour, we stayed at the hotel by the marina in Waren and felt very comfortable there.
The check-in was quick and straightforward, allowing us to access our room without a long wait. We were particularly impressed by the balcony with a direct view of the Müritz and the harbor. The view was truly beautiful and made our stay special.
We also really enjoyed the breakfast. The selection was diverse, the products were fresh, and they were always replenished. The dinner at the restaurant was equally impressive, featuring delicious dishes and attentive, courteous service.
The entire hotel gave a very well-kept impression. Both our room and the public areas were clean and tidy. The service at the hotel was consistently good and professional, even though it was more matter-of-fact than particularly warm.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and can gladly recommend the hotel by the marina due to its excellent location, beautiful rooms, and good dining options. A lovely place to spend a few relaxing days at the Müritz. ⛵️

Location convincing – the rest unfortunately less
Review – Hotel am Marina Waren
My partner and I spent two nights at this hotel. The location is really top – right on the water and very central. Unfortunately, however, we had the impression that the hotel rests a bit too much on this advantage.
There are some minor flaws that cloud the overall impression. Breakfast is heavily advertised, but seems rather unlovely in implementation. You may get fed up, but there is no question of excellent quality here.
On the other hand, the adjacent restaurant is to be emphasized positively: The staff was very friendly and attentive, and both the hot food and dinner were excellent.
We are also critical of the price-performance ratio: 358 € for two nights we find a bit too high for what is offered. Basics like a bottle of water in the room or the possibility to make coffee or tea, we lacked.
At first glance everything seems clean, on closer inspection unfortunately not continuous. Especially in the bathroom there were clear cleanliness defects – the edge under the sink was not properly cleaned.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but is currently not fully exploiting it.

Simply top - both the starter and main course
We stopped in without Reservation, got a table (indoors) and were completely delighted! Wouldn't have expected so, especially the very nice interior, simply welcoming and a plus to feel good about.
Very friendly staff and the food (antipaste in advance, schnitzel with chanterelle ragout + butter potatoes - see photos) was just very delicious.
