Cosy, very clean, absolutely quiet - great stay in Waren

We had been looking for a small, more quiet hotel in Waren in advance and found the “golden ball”, a solid little hotel that is equipped and run with a lot of love and passion. Our room on the 2nd floor, equipped with separate leather couch, small armchair and coffee table, has everything you need for a few days on site. Everything super clean, nothing to complain about. For coffee, tea or cold drinks, the hotel has a small bar in the first hallway - also happy for early coffee before breakfast.
The breakfast itself is very rich and leaves nothing to be desired. Those who like it can have their scrambled or fried eggs with bacon freshly prepared served at the table. Whether cereal, fruit, yogurt or small hot snacks, fresh cold cuts, cheese or even homemade smoothies - everyone will find something here.....
The staff was very friendly, competent and helpful. For me absolutely satisfactory, that is all you can and should not expect.

P.S. : Because the small bathroom is so glad to be “focused” - the bathroom offers functionally everything you need. It's just not a dance hall...

Great location for the old city and lake.

The hotel is located in the Altstadt and near the lake. As a result parking at the hotel is limited. We turned up and the lady on reception was extremely helpful giving us info on the town. We had room 116 at the rear of the hotel and it was really quiet. On the floor we stayed in was a fridge loaded with drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic that you helped yoursel from and filled in the drinks list in your room.
Room was light and roomy with twin beds, flat screen TV, table and 2 chairs and wardrobe. Toilet/ shower was in one corner and was fine.
All in all a good spot to visit Waren.

Very friendly host

Waren was overrun by tourists when we were there. I know, we were tourists too, and it was high season. The hotel is in the old part of town,a bit tricky to find but only a short walk off the main pedestrian mall. The room was medium size, it was quiet. There is parking, the price is reasonable, includes breakfast. It is close to the harbour and the market. The host was helpful and forthcoming with advice. He spoke English well.
Waren is a very pretty place, but as mentioned, very touristy.

eine Woche Müritz-die Goldene Kugel war die richtige Wahl

Eine Mitarbeiterin hat uns sehr nett empfangen,alle Formalitäten waren sehr schnell
erledigt.Das Hotel liegt in der 2.Reihe zum Hafen,in einer Seitenstrasse mit wenig
Parkmöglichkeiten.Daher fanden wir das Parkplatzangebot für 4 Euro/Tag angemessen.Das Areal ist mit einer automatischen Schranke gesichert.
Wir hatten Zi.209 in der 2. Etage.Alles sehr sauber und 3 Sterne Standart.Ja,15
Quadratmeter sind nicht viel,aber für uns völlig ausreichend.Ach,ja,der Aufreger
ist ja immer das kleine Bad.Auch zu Hause geht man,jedenfalls wir,immer alleine
aufs Klo.Von daher 00-Problem...
Im Urlaub freut man sich ja immer aufs Frühstück.Na das war ja der Hammer.Das
sogenannte Coronafrühstück wurde sehr nett von Frau Jedwillat (Cheffin) am Tisch
serviert.Man konnte wählen...wählen...wählen...alles da.Gewichtszunahme
vorprogrammiert.Zum Glück haben wir durch einige Fahrradtouren wieder"Platz"
bekommen.Übrigens,die Fahrräder stehen sicher.Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett
und immer für ein kleines Gespräch bereit.Die Zi. werden täglich gesäubert.
Es wurde alles getan ,den Gästen(trotz Corona) ein paar schöne Tage zu bereiten.
So,das soll es gewesen sein.Fahrt einfach hin und überzeugt euch selbst.Es ist alles immer nur subjektiv. Grüsse nach Waren aus Sachsen Anhalt von

klein aber fein, sehr emphelenswert

Das Hotel liegt in der schönen Altstadt von Waren. Ruhige Lage und nicht weit weg vom Hafen und der Altstadt. Alle Ziele sehr schnell zu erreichen. Die Austattung des Hotels und des Zimmers waren sehr gut.. Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, ausreichend und sehr schmackhaft.
