Nice stay

Its a hotel without a restaurant.
Booked it for a one night stay during our trip home from Venice.
Nice room, with good beds, and bathroom. Everything clean and fresh
Had an excellent breakfast.
Staff is very helpfull.

Clean, comfortable and excellent value

I stay regularly in Walldorf but this is the first time I've stayed in the Hotel Gruenshof - I've been missing out.The rooms are spacious, scrupulously clean and comfortable.
The hotel is small and the reception is only manned from 5-7p.m.. If you arrive outside these hours, ring the number on the bell and they'll buzz you in. You'll need to find someone to pay the bill on your last day.
The hotel is small and there isn't too much in the way of facilities but it's very accessible for the centre of Walldorf and there's nothing you'll miss. Breakfast is good and is available from 7. The staff don't speak too much English but were happy to support me with my struggling German.
The only negative was that it was very hot 30C+ and the rooms do not have air-conditioning so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. In my experience this is typical for Germany and shouldn't prevent you from staying here.

Der erste Eindruck ist der beste ...

... so sagt man. Ich denke auch das es so ist und schreibe meine Bewerbung deshalb bereits am ersten Tag der Ankunft. Das Hotel liegt an für sich an einer ruhigen nicht viel befahrenen Straße. Direkt neben an ist ein schönes Lokal / Pup. Bei meiner Ankunft wurde ich von einer netten Damen des Hauses empfangen. Sie erklärte mir alle wichtigen Details sehr ausführlich. Frühstückszeiten und Ort, WLAN Passwörter, und die Formalitäten waren bereits auch schon vorbereitet. Danach ging es auf das Zimmer. Mein Zimmer war nett eingerichtet und verfügte über alle Dinge die man benötigt. TV hat so gut wie jedes Programm im Angebot. Großer Schreibtisch und eine Flasche gratis Wasser mit einem leckeren HANUTA welches gleich vernascht wurde. die Sauberkeit ist sehr gut. Auf dem ersten Blick alles Blitze blank. Das Badezimmer ist groß und verfügt über Dusche und WC. Auch hier alles sauber. Ich finde hier keinen Punkt an dem ich meckern könnte also freue ich mich auf eine schöne Woche in der tollen Stadt und den schönen Hotel.

Ruhig und Angenehm

War vorher etwas skeptisch - doch alles ok und sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück. Duschkopf könnte besser sein. Keine Kakerlake! Empfang und Frühstücksbewirtung unkompliziert. Charme eines behutsam renovierten ca. 100 Jahre alten Wohnhauses mit Terazzoböden.
