Comfortable and quiet on the edge of Dangast

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area on the southern edge of Varel-Dangast. It is about 1 km to the harbor of Dangast, the center, and the beach. Free parking at the property. Wi-Fi is free and works well. Lovingly decorated lobby, small terrace in front of the building. Very nice welcome with a glass of sherry. We had a spacious room with a view of the greenery on the first floor with a seating area, small desk, flat-screen TV, and minibar. No air conditioning. Modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. Toilet unfortunately not separate. In the basement, there is a beautiful sauna area with a steam room and Finnish sauna. Whirlpool tub for a fee. Also strange that drinks (mineral water) are offered for money (€3 for 0.2l of mineral water, more expensive than in the restaurant!).
The restaurant also serves as a breakfast room, including in the attached conservatory. The breakfast buffet is lavishly stocked with a large selection of cold cuts, cheese, fish, and more. The somewhat longer breakfast hours are nice. The restaurant offers excellent German and regional cuisine at a high level, including the prices, so the price-performance ratio is consistent. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating in all areas. Anyone who forgoes daily housekeeping is rewarded with a drink.
We spent three nights here and felt very comfortable.

Best choice for Dangast

Everything was top-notch, the best house in the area. However, the sauna area was not very appealing.

Perfect family-run hotel for a break on the Jade Bus

From our first stay to the last one in April’26, we treat ourselves only to saying “perfect”.
It all starts with the very personal greeting, as well as the sherry. Everything important is then asked or is already prepared.
Key card is presented and you can move into your room.
All rooms are very well equipped so you immediately feel at home. Premium rooms have a balcony and dressing room. Everything super incl. the beds. Should something be missing or not I.o. will respond immediately.
The restaurant is worth a recommendation. Both breakfast and dinner are outstanding.
Due service in the restaurant is exceptional and very personal if you want and allow this.
All in all, it is always a treat to stop by this hotel.
We can only make our recommendation.

Hotel to feel good

A hotel suitable for well-being in every respect! Starting with the very warm welcome (incl. Welcome Sherry) to recommending a suitable running route to the possibility of having breakfast the next morning, even though I was over half an hour late, contributed to my feeling very welcome at Graf Bentick. The room was modern and nice brightly renovated, the bed very comfortable. Last but not least: My agreed late checkout as well as the soft drinks taken from the minibar were not charged despite mention! When I am back in this - scenic - area, I will definitely stop back here!

A hotel to feel good about

A family-run house with a high guest orientation. So we were offered a glass of Cherry at check in. The entire staff is very attentive and competent: Both characteristics that are unfortunately not always found in hotels. The renovated room was large and equipped with everything you would expect in the upscale hotel industry. In the cosy restaurant a delicious breakfast and a high-quality dinner is possible, which is also well prepared for the eye. Overall a hotel to feel good about.
