A stay as a stopover

The hotel was also a stopover on our motorcycle tour. The room was good. The staff was friendly. The location for a visit to the Wilhelm monument is very good. The food at the restaurant was very good with the special cauliflower selection.

Bad.

This review refers only to the restaurant, not the hotel. After a very successful and beautiful excursion with my daughter and my grandson, we wanted to stop by the restaurant at the end to fortify ourselves and refresh with a cool drink. Unfortunately, we were apparently not welcome, as the staff paid us no attention whatsoever. After we had already been sitting at the table for 15 minutes and the waiter had walked past our table several times, but did not deem us worthy of a glance, let alone greet us, we decided to face the truth and admit to ourselves that we were probably not welcome at this place. As a consequence, we therefore decided to leave. Really a shame. But we will not return here.

Quiet hotel in a picturesque location at Kyffhäuser

Very quiet and scenic location directly under the Kyffhäuser Monument – a perfect starting point for excursions in the nearby area and the Unstrut Saale wine region. Various sizes of tastefully furnished rooms, mostly located in very quiet areas, with sufficient balconies (some even weather-protected). Good beds. Ample parking available at the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Good restaurant service. Nice staff. Fair price-performance ratio.

Highly recommended!

We stopped for a night in the castle yard on a motorcycle tour. A very nice house with good rooms in a very quiet location. The staff is super friendly and the kitchen has prepared us a very delicious dinner. The breakfast buffet was excellent !
Man should definitely take the time to visit the monument, a magnificent view!

Just perfect!
Team super friendly, comfortable and very clean rooms with great views, breakfast fantastic.
Location directly below the monument and more than ample parking.
