Better than expected!

We booked for one night to interrupt the length train journey from north to south. Already the booking was problem-free. Very friendly. Exactly the same on arrival at the hotel.
The room is large and a bit quirkily decorated.
We barely heard the trains with the windows closed.
For pure overnight stay for train passengers definitely recommended.

An old train station that has been beautifully and lovingly renovated and furnished.
Ideally suited for a shorter or longer stay or even as a long-term vacation, as it is very inexpensive!!
Location & surroundings:
The city center of Wilhelmshaven is not far away, about 3.5 km!
Rooms:
Tastefully & beautifully furnished.
Service:
Very friendly welcome & reception.
Gastronomy:
Only 4 stars or suns for the optional breakfast! Because otherwise there is NO gastronomy!!
Sport & entertainment:
see photos "playroom"......for "leisure fun" in the hostel!
Hotel:
Value for money: Very good

Schade

Wir suchten eine Uebernachtungsmöglichkeit, da meinem Mann in Sande eine ambulante OP bevorstand. Der Aufenthalt hat dann aber, wegen Komplikationen, länger gedauert. Unsere Tochter und ich sind lieber in ein anderes Hotel gezogen.
Es steht in keinem Preisleistungsverhältniss. Das positivste an dem Hostel war die Betreuung am Empfang. Das Zimmer war sehr dreckig und aufgrund dessen haben wir uns nicht wohl gefühlt. Wir erwarteten keinen besonderen Komfort, aber wenigstens sauber wäre schön gewesen.

Laut im Internet sind die Zimmer renoviert.Da hat man wohl eins vergessen.

Das Zimmer ist nicht renoviert.Alles alt schlechtes Licht,das Bad sieht aus da wird übel und das Bett ist abgezockt.Der Fernseher sowie Empfang ist grauenhaft.Wir sind nicht pingelig aber dieses mal sehr unzufrieden.

Einfache Übernachtungsmöglichkeit

Sehr netter Service empfing uns auch früher als zu Standardcheckinzeiten. Das Zimmer war gross und wie bei einem alten Bahnhof zu erwarten an noch aktiven Bahngleisen gelegen. Das Bett war bequem, die Laken waren sauber und rochen frisch. Der TV wurde nicht genutzt.
Das einzige war das Bad, das in mancher Ecke nicht ganz lupenrein gereinigt wurde und muffig roch.
Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt bei dem Preis von 56 € aber ausreichend. Mehr Luxus kostet eben mehr. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht ausprobiert.
