Location very good - minor flaws are acceptable.
Positive:
Buffet (every day meat, fish, vegetables, and two types of side dishes; breakfast completely sufficient).
Staff very friendly and accommodating (one person was rather curt, but not unfriendly).
Location is great with a wonderful view (if the room faces south).
Terrace with a very nice view.
Swimming pool, table tennis, foosball, children's area, sauna, steam bath, bowling alley.
Sufficient free parking spaces (if needed, 6 euros for carport spaces).
Points of complaint (at a high level):
Ceiling in the swimming pool could be better maintained.
Cold water in the room (shower / faucets) is sometimes temporarily unavailable --> Information at check-in would be helpful.

The beams outside the hotel could use a coat of paint

Setback. Insufficient (motivated) staff and overdue maintenance.
Paintless balconies with concrete rot, breakfast buffets that are always empty, at whatever time you come, dried out and curled slices of cheese and sausages, patio chairs peel off so that your clothes falter.
Such a shame, the location is beautiful.

Fair value for money, but exterior and interior renovations are necessary.
The evening meal (half-board) deserves to be more elaborate (3 days in a row with not much variety)
Same for breakfast (always the same products)
However, friendly staff, comfortable bedding, guaranteed quiet at night, unobstructed view, a small fridge in the superior rooms would be much appreciated with the current heat
It is a shame that the terrace is equipped with tables and chairs from another era and that service is not offered there (in the evening you have to dine inside and without air conditioning)
Same regarding the "wild" exterior of the pool, which deserves a serious refresh.

Pure relaxation
A nice, clean and welcoming place to relax properly. There are many destinations for excursions, but it is also worth the trip to Hochfirst from the hotel. And in the evenings again in the hotel's own pool. All hotel staff make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Thank you very much, we would love to come back.
